Charlotte's POV

I sat in front of the mirror with my eyes closed, waiting for my Aunt to finish working the wonders she performed on my face.

The loud music in the club kept penetrating the door of the room we were. Yeah, it is my Aunt’s club house.

I work as a cleaner in the club house. I was always back the stage and have never been seen by anyone.

Not until my Aunt came to me today happily and started getting me dressed and giving me a makeover.

She bought me a very beautiful golden gown with golden beads on it and a killer heels to wear. This is really weird.

“Tada!!” She said smiling as she left my front. I opened my eyes and I looked at myself in the mirror.

I looked so beautiful, I have never been worked on like this before. I stood up and looked at my Aunt in fear.

This is the very first time she is been nice to me after my parents died.

“Aunt, why are you been so nice to me all of a sudden?” I asked bowing my head slightly.

“Okay this is it Charlotte.” She said holding my shoulders and turning me to face the mirror.

“All these you carry will be very useful to us.” She said tracing her hand over my curvy h¡ps.

“Ma’am, I don’t understand.” I said looking at myself in the mirror.

“Never mind girl, you will know soon.” She said in frustration.

“Okay.” I replied nodding.

“I will be back soon. Prepare yourself and wear your shoe.” She said and moved out of the room.

I am Charlotte Cena, I am 19 years old. I am who people call beauty, I had the curves and shape to make a man drool.

I kept staring at myself and truly I looked beautiful. My h¡ps were so big in the body hug cloth and my cle-vages were exposed.

I felt uncomfortable in it but I had no choice than to comply or Aunt will skin me alive. I kept walking in front of the mirror adjusting the cloth to cover my exposed cle-vages but it kept coming down.

“No one would ever know I am 19 years old, I look 25.” I thought smiling.

“But why all these make up?? I have never been dressed in expensive clothing since my parents died.” I thought.

I wore my shoe and I stood up to try carrying it, it looked so beautiful. I was still admiring myself when Mrs Ruby my Aunt came in smiling.

“C’mon girl. Its time.” She said happily.

“Time for what?” I thought but I dare not say it out. I nodded smiling faintly as she held me and we moved out into the club.

The lights in the club house were dull colours but the my cloth was glowing under them.

“You need to compose yourself.” She yelled into my ears because of the noise in the club and I nodded in obedience.

I looked around me and I saw other girls of my age dressed in expensive and extravagant clothes.

They looked so beautiful too. I wonder what is going on.

Suddenly the music stopped and everywhere became silent. My aunt went up the stage. Well, she is the owner.

She also wore a beautiful blue gown exposing her body. I don’t blame her, she isn’t married.

“Good day ladies and gentlemen. This is another day we all have been waiting for.” She said smiling as all the audiences clapped their hands.

“And we will be bringing up our best and beautiful ladies for you to pick your choice.” She said happily.

“Pick your choice?” I thought in confusion. What is going on here?

The girls started walking to the stage swaying their butts and b**bs. I stood still where I was and kept watching like a dummy.

I saw my Aunt shake her head trying to pass me an information and I grabbed it immediately.

I walked up the stage as the last lady on the stage and stood in front of everyone facing the ground.

John's POV

I sat in the club house discussing with Davis my friend when the music stopped pulling our attention to the stage.

“Oh John, see this ladies they are hot!!.” Davis said happily.

“Whatever.” I said rolling my eyes and facing my phone.

“C’mon Johnny, you are so cold.” He added and I giggled still facing my phone.

“Who is taking this lady? $300.” I heard Mrs Ruby say.

I looked up to the stage and I saw the Lady in front. She had a wine coloured hair and she was awfully thin.

“Geez, she is ugly.” I said irritatingly.

“Yeah, I agree to that for the first time.” Davis said making me burst into laughter. I continued playing games on my phone turning deaf ears to what was going on.

“John see this Lady.” Davis said hitting me very hærd.

“I am not INTRESTED.” I said making emphasis on the interested.

“Please just this once.” He said still hitting me hærd.

“Fine!” I said and looked up to see the most beautiful lady I have seen in my entire life.

My mouth dropped open and my phone slipped off my hand falling right into Davis hand.

“Who wants her? She is still intact, still very tight. $500.” Mrs Ruby announced.

“I, $500!” A man yelled from behind me. He looked so rough and ugly under the colorful bulbs.

“Any one else. She is going?” She added again.

“$700!” Another man yelled. I looked at his direction and I saw how huge he was, he had big muscles like that of a wrestler.

“If this guy handles the lady, I am sure she will die. He looks so brutal.” I thought looking at the Lady again.

“Is that all?” She asked and I didn’t hear anyone talk.

My gaze was glued to her face. She looked so shy and couldn’t even look up properly.

“So she goes to..” She said.

“$1000!” I yelled cutting her.

I saw the lady look up in shock and she kept staring at me. She is so beautiful.

“Hey!! John, are you okay? $1000!!! For a Lady!! Are you kidding me ?!” Davis whispered almost like a yell in my ears.

“Wow!! That is a lot of money.” Mrs Ruby said happily.

“Anyone else?” She asked but no one answered anymore.

“So Charlotte goes to Mr??” She said pointing at me.

“John!” I replied standing up with my gaze still on Charlotte.

Episode 2

Charlotte's POV

I knew immediately what Mrs Ruby was talking about and I couldn’t believe I was actually been sold.

I was so shocked when a guy decided to buy me for $1000.

“Charlotte go meet your new owner.” She whispered into my ears as we were off the stage.

“Mrs Ruby, please don’t sell me.” I said sadly as tears threatened to roll down my cheeks.

“Shut up Charlotte. Do you think all these make over are for free? I am tired of feeding you. It is time for my reward.” She said angrily.

She brought a travelling bag closer to me and I knew it contained my stuff.

“Please Aunt. I don’t even know him.” I said and she was about reply me when I heard the sweetest voice I have ever heard in my entire life.

“Hi.” The voiced said. I was so tempted to look back and I did.

“Omg!! He is so cute!!! His hair was covering a part of his left eye.” I thought staring at his face.

“Mr John, you made me so happy today.” She said coming in between Mr john and I. He looks 28,He is really a Mister.

“Its nothing ma’am, but advertising her isn’t polite at all. I did that because I didn’t want her to fall into the wrong hands.” He said sadly.

“At least you have bought her. And you have paid so, I don’t care.” She said nonchalantly.

“I didn’t buy her.” He said moving close to me. Mrs Ruby walked away leaving two of us.

“Hi” he said again smiling.

“Hi” I replied shyly.

“Let’s leave here.” He said smiling.

I nodded sadly and was about picking up the travelling bag before he stopped me.

“You won’t be needing those.” He said pushing it aside.

“They are my clothes.” I replied looking at him.

“I know, we will get you new ones.” He said and held me hands as we moved out of the club.

We walked outside until we stopped in front of a car.

“Wow! She is so beautiful!!.” Another guy said coming down from the car in front of us.

“Davis c’mon act matured.” Mr John said rolling his eyes.

“I am Davis.” He said stretching his hand to me. He looked young too but older than Mr john in face and stature.

“Charlotte.” I replied receiving his hand shyly.

“Please can we move now?” Mr john said entering the car. Davis entered into the car smiling.

I walked to the back of the car and was about entering when Mr John’s voice stopped me.

“You are sitting at the front.” He said coldly.

“The front??? What about me?” Davis said.

“You sitting at the back of course.” He said with a final tone.

“Why??” He asked raising up his hand.

“Don’t worry Mr John, I will sit at the back.” I said calmly opening the door and entering the car.

“Mr John?” Davis said laughing loudly.

“You a mister Jonny!” He said laughing hærd and I couldn’t help but wonder why.

He shook his head and zoomed off to only God knows. I have finally become a man’s property.

I knew they was something bad attached to the nice treatment Mrs Ruby gave me. She has never been nice to me.

I have been working as a maid ever since i lost my parents Ten years ago.

Mr John seems nice but I can’t trust him just like that. Many of them have come to me sweetly but I later found out they were after my body.

Now I know guys are the same. Act cool this minute and the next act so cold and annoying.

John's POV

We got to my mansion shortly and I zoomed in, parking my car in the garage. I came out of the car, so did Davis.

I was about walking to open Charlotte’s door when Davis opened it and stretching his hands to help her down.

“Ahhh” I sighed rolling my eyes. Davis is such a drama Knight.

“Thank you.” She said smiling faintly. Tho it was obvious she wasn’t happy about what Mrs Ruby did. I had to do that so she won’t fall into the hands of miserable men.

She is too beautiful and curvy to be used anyhow. I need to ask what really brought her to the club in the first place. She doesn’t look like the rest of the ladies.

She looked so innocent compared to the other ladies. One was even chewing gum like a bi**h.

I opened the door and walked in disgust remembering the last part of my thought.

“Welcome to our beautiful home.” Davis said rolling happily. I looked at her and I saw she was lost staring at the building.

Well I don’t expect nothing less. My house is one of the biggest in town. My parents are very rich and I am the only son, tho I have a naughty younger sister who lives with my parents.

“Sit.” I finally spoke as she stared at me.

I walked slowly to the couch and sat on the couch carefully still surveying the structure of the house.

I sat opposite her, while Davis sat beside me and I knew he was so happy. He loves beautiful ladies so much.

“So Charlotte, what do you do?” I asked smiling slightly.

“Ehn..nn I worked as a cleaner in my Aunt Ruby’s Club.” She replied shyly as she fondled with her fingers.

“Wow, can you cook?” Davis asked cutting me off.

“Yes.” She replied bowing slightly.

“Can you please not interrupt Davis.” I said in frustration. He placed his index finger on his l-ips signifying he has kept his mouth shut.

“So Charlotte, how old are you?” I asked again watching her every reaction.

“19” she replied still bowing her head.

“Really….” Davis said but I shut him up with a deadly look.

“You are really 19?” I asked in surprise examining her body. She was too hot for her age. Her h¡ps threatened to tear off the gown and her cle-vages were killing.

“I am 19.” She said and I couldn’t help but wonder what a beautiful Lady like her was doing between pr-stitutes.

“Okay this is it. You will start working here as a maid, you clean the house, cook the dishes and the rest. And I will still pay you.” I said staring at her.

Episode 3

Charlotte's POV

“You will still pay me?” I asked surprisingly.

“Yes, so your work is just to do the cleaning and cook the meals.” He said resting his back on the couch’s back rest.

“Thank you so much.” I said happily, tho I still felt sad about all that was going on.

“What if he is just using this to get to your body?” My inner mind said making me unhappy.

I shifted my gaze to Davis and I saw him grinning widely. He winked at me and I couldn’t help but smile.

“I will show you around the house.” Mr John said standing up. I nodded and stood up but I fell back to the chair, my legs were hurting. The heels isn’t my thing.

“Are you okay?” Mr John and Davis asked at the same time.

“I am fine. I just need to get my legs off these hells.” I said removing the heels.

As I did I felt the gaze of the men all over me and I couldn’t help but feel nervous. Won’t they end up wanting my body like other guys do?

“I am done.” I said standing and looking at them. I saw Mr John staring at my b**bs and, Davis was staring at my h¡ps and grinning stupidly.

I stood looking at them and bowed my head slightly wishing they could stop staring at me.

“Here, wear this.” Davis said stretching a guys slippers to me.

“Thanks.” I replied collecting it. This will be of great help, I wore it and it looked nice and felt comfortable. Tho it was big, it was beautiful on my leg.

“Let’s go.” I heard Mr John say and I felt so happy. At least they won’t be able to stare at my sed-ctive body if I walk behind them.

I nodded looking up and Mr John started moving while I trailed behind him.

“Davis stay here. I need to talk to her privately.” He said without looking back.

“Why?? You want to do that stuff hun?” Davis said giggling.

“What stuff?? Hope it is not what I am thinking?” I thought walking behind my new owner.

I felt uncomfortable walking in the gown and I kept pulling it up to cover my b-obs. It was so exposing and I knew my owner lusts over it.

We got to the kitchen and we both went in. I was still battling with my gown when I heard him speak up.

“This is the kitchen like you know.” He said looking back abruptly catching me battling with the gown.

I quickly stopped what I was doing and nodded like I was listening. He looked at me with a narrowed eye before nodding.

We left the kitchen and headed for the stairs. He was in front of me and I was so happy he was, can’t imagine him coming behind me. He will surely look at my a**.

“Why did you agree to it?” He said stopping my thoughts.

“Agree to what?” I asked staring at his back.

“To be in that club, among those girls.” He added without looking back at me.

“I didn’t agree to any of it.” I said as we got to the top floor.

“Then why did you do it? You look too innocent and fragile. You are even having problems with the gown you wearing.” He said turning to look at me.

“I.. I” I stammered trying to talk but his gaze couldn’t make me talk. He had a countenance I couldn’t phantom.

“You can talk to me Charlotte.” He said calmly.

“Okay.” I said nodding sadly.

“Come with me.” He said walking away. I followed him until we got to a swimming pool. It had beautiful lights around it, I loved it so much. He is really rich.

John's POV

I led her to the chairs close to the pool. It was getting dark already and the light around the pool gave the place a wonderful view.

“Sit.” I said tapping a chair close to where I sat. She sat and I couldn’t help but stare at her for a while.

“You are beautiful.” I said smiling slightly.

“Huh?” She said raising up her head.

“Yeah.. You are beautiful. I wish I told you first but that naughty friend of mine spoiled everything.” I said.

“Thank you.” She replied smiling slightly, she kept her head low hiding her face from me.

“Is that how you are?” I asked again staring at her.

“How?” She asked looking at me.

“Always shy, bowing your head and trying not to look into my face.” I said. She nodded looking away making me laugh. That is cute.

“So Charlotte, tell me your story.” I said facing her properly so I could see her face properly.

“Mr John, my life is a mess.” She said sighing heavily.

“First of all, I am not Mr John. I am John, John Walker.” I said smiling.

“It won’t be easy to call you that. You are way older than me and you are now my boss.” She said shyly.

“Hmm smart.” I said nodding my head.

“Thank you sir.” She answered.

“Arrrrgghhhh, whatever. So tell me your story, I am eager to hear it.” I said seriously.

I heard her sigh heavily before raising her head to meet mine.

“My parents died the day I was born. My father had an accident that took his life when he helped my mother get my stuffs from our house. My mother died that very day after hearing about it.” She said and I saw tears roll down her cheeks.

“I am so sorry Charlotte.” I said sadly.

“Its okay, it is my fate. Since then my Aunt Ruby adopted me, I grew to know her as I guardian tho she made it clear she isn’t my real mother.

When I was older, she made me do all the house chores and feed me only once saying she wasn’t monetarily buoyant.

When I was 11, I started working in the club house as a cleaner. Each passing day I wished I had died with my parent.

I knew Aunt Ruby sells ladies to men for cash but I never knew she would think of doing that to me, her sisters daughter.

She said guys likes girls like me especially the ones that are yet to be touched, so she dressed me up and brought me to the podium, and then you bought me and I here.” She said sadly cleaning her tears off her face.

“Wow, that is so sad.” I said pitifully.

“Can I ask you are question?” She said looking at me.

“Yes Charlotte.” I said nodding.

“Why did you buy me at the price? I mean there were lot of more beautiful girls amongst us.” She said looking right into my eyes.

“Charlotte I saw a difference in you. You looked pure, I couldn’t let you fall into any bad hands and lastly, I was engrossed by your beauty. You were the most beautiful.” I said smiling and I saw her blush slightly.

“Thank you Sir.” She said smiling.

“John!” I said rolling my eyes.

“John.” She replied shyly.

“You go and rest for tomorrows work. I will walk you to your room.” I said standing up. She nodded standing up too.

“My slippers looks nice on you.” I said before leading the way.

Episode 4

Angelica's POV

“Bianca, get me the eye liner!! I told you not to take it, you are so annoying.” I yelled from my room.

“Angelica calm down, don’t bite me!!” My younger sister Bianca yelled back.

“Geez, she is so annoying.” I thought combing my hair.

“Here take it, don’t eat me raw.” Bianca said barging into the room angrily. She dropped it on front of me and turned to go but I stopped her.

“Bianca.” I called pouting my mouth.

“What!!” She yelled back.

“My Darling sister, I am sorry for getting you angry.” I said standing up and standing in front of her.

“What do you want? I know you want me to do something that is why you are remorseful.” She said rolling her eyes.

“As my sweet makeup artist. Can you please do some make over on my face? I am going to see John today, I want to look nice.” I replied smiling.

“I knew it!” She replied nodding.

“Thank you.” I said happily sitting in front of my mirror.

I have been a relationsh¡p with John for almost 3 years now. He has been a darling to me.

He loves me and I love him more, tho I almost spoilt our relationsh¡p by sleeping with one of his workers in his company.

I was caught and he almost killed me. He hates seeing me with another man and I love a jealous man like him.

My parents agree totally to our relationsh¡p, so did his parents. We should have gotten married but he said he still needed some time.

I can’t wait for him to finally make me his official wife.

“Done!” Bianca said coldly. That is how she is, she is an introvert. I opened my eyes to look at myself in the mirror.

“Wow. Bianca, you did a great job. I look so beautiful.” I said happily. Been a model and then having a makeup artist as a sister is the best thing you can ever ask of.

“Whatever, I am off.” She replied walking out of the room.

I didn’t even mind her, I went to my closet and brought out the new gown I bought with some of the clothes I was to wear for my upcoming photoshoot.

It was a wine short armless gown, I wore it and stood in front of my standing mirror. My h¡ps and b**bs were so evident in the cloth and I loved it.

“John is going to trip when he sees me.” I thought happily. I wore my silver coloured shoe and carried my silver bag.

I walked in front of the mirror swaying my butts and I loved what I saw. I was a cry hot cake.

I walked out of my room majestically, cat walking like I have always been doing.

“Dad! Mom! I am off to Johns house.” I yelled to them anywhere they were. I walked out before they could reply.

I brought out my car keys and pressed them and the car door opened automatically. I sat in my car and zoomed off to John’s.

Charlotte's POV

I woke up by the buzz of the alarm in my room the next day. I got up from my bed and walked to the toilet to bath.

I was giving a night wear by Mr John yesterday night because I didn’t have one. I was sure it was for a guy, either for him or Davis.

I took my bath in the bath tub, I loved the way the warm water made me feel. I laid in,side the tub for like 10 minutes before scrubbing my body.

I came out of the bathroom to the dress up, then I remembered I had no stuffs in the house apart from my expensive gown.

I wore my gown and walked to the door. I opened the door to see some bags in front of me.

“What are these?” I thought bending to see it. There was a paper on it and I picked it up to read it.

“WEAR THE CLOTHES AND CHOOSE THE ONES YOU LIKE. I AM OFF TO WORK, JOHN.” I read the paper smiling.

He is kinda nice. I carried the bags in,side my room happily to check out the clothes.

I started opening them and I saw different type of beautiful dresses and shoes. They were very lovely, that even had their labels on them.

I wore the clothes and shoes and they suit me well. How come he knows my size? Even if he guessed the clothes, what about the shoes?

I removed my exposing gown and wore a red top and white trousers from the clothes he bought for me.

The red top suit me well, and the trousers packed up my excess a** making it look small.

There was another small bags in the big bags. “What can be here?” I thought smiling.

I opened the first bag to see a cream, roll on and perfume. Wow, I didn’t see that coming.

I opened the perfume and smelt it, it was smelling nice, so was the roll on. I tried the cream on my body and it was mild on my skin.

“How those Mr John know all these?” I thought in amusement. I eagerly opened the last bag and I was shocked when I saw the contents.

“p-nties and bras?” I said in shock. I saw a paper in the bag after bringing out all the underwear in bag.

“DAVIS FORCED ME TO GET IT” I read in laughter. They are kinda funny, i sized the b-ra and they were my exact size.” Is Davis that good?” I thought smiling.

I arranged all my gifts in my closet and I stared at them happily. I have never had a closet to call mine.

I walked out of my room to start my daily activity. I got to the kitchen to see everywhere neat, tho we didn’t eat last night, I didn’t expect it to be this neat.

“Impressive” I said nodding. I moved in and opened the refrigerator to see it fully stocked with food ingredients.

I smiled as I pictured the food I was going to prepare in my head. Let’s suprise Mr john and Davis.” I said happily.

Episode 5

“Do you think she would like the gift?” I asked Davis as we walked out of the conference room.

“C’mon Johnny. No Lady will see that and won’t be flattered. Guy, you even bought her undies.” He said laughing.

“Shhh.” I placed my index finger on his l-ips.

“People mustn’t hear.” I said giggling.

“You seem interested in her Johnny.” He said narrowing his eyes as we got to my office.

“No Davis, don’t think it that way. I just want to help, that’s all.” I said rolling my eyes.

“I will say you said so.” Davis said grinning.

“Idiot” I said laughing.

“Hope you haven’t forgotten your model girlfriend.” He said raising his hands to signify quotation marks.

“I can’t forget Angelica, i am just worried about how she would feel when she sees Charlotte in my house.” I said sighing.

“Intimidated.” He replied.

“Why would she be intimidated?” I asked furrowing my brows.

“It is obvious. Charlotte is more curvy and beautiful than Angelica.” He said using his hands in demonstration of a woman’s curve.

“Well I don’t know about that.” I said pretending not go know. But honestly, Charlotte is so hot!!

“I can’t wait to get home, I want to see her assets every time.” He said grinning stupidly.

“Can you just take your eyes off her, its annoying.” I said flipping open the doc-ments in front of me.

“Don’t tell me you are jealous.” He said lowering his to meet mine.

“I am not, just stay away from her. She is mine, as far as I am concerned I bought her.” I said in a finally tone.

“Ouch!” I give up. There was a knock on the door of the office.

“Come in.” I said and my Secretary came in looking beautiful as ever. Angelica almost killed me when she knew a beautiful girl like Success.

“Hey Success.” Davis said smiling stupidly.

“Hi Davis.” She replied moving to where I sat. “Sir, the doc-ments you are to sign.” She said placing it on my table.

“Thank you.” I replied smiling.

“Success what about our discussion?” Davis asked grinning.

“We will see in camera.” She asked blushing before moving out of my office.

“Yes!” He yelled happily.

“Seems you have finally seen a girlfriend.” I said winking at him.

“Not yet. Not when I still have Charlotte close by.” He said winking at him, while I shot a deadly look making him laugh hærd.

Angelica's POV

I drove into John’s house happily. I adjusted my dressing and my makeup before coming down from the car.

I walked majestically to the door, I pressed the door bell with the best smile I could put on. I waited for him to open up.

The door opened and I was about jumping on him when I saw a very beautiful girl in front of me. She smiled at me, and I must say she is cute.

“Hi” she said smiling widely.

“Hi.” I replied looking at her from head to toe.

“Come in.” She said opening the door for me. I walked in swaying my a** majestically. I looked to have a better look of her.

She had an apron on and she was heavily loaded! She had butts as thrice as mine. Omg! What is she doing here? Why will somebody like her stay her for a minute.

“What are you doing here?” I asked sitting on the couch and crossing my legs on each other.

“I am the new maid ma’am.” She said smiling. Who is smiling with her?

“Ohhh maid, yeah.” I said rolling my eyes.

“And you are?” She asked smiling.

“Well, I am John’s Fiancée.” I said smiling.

“You look beautiful ma’am.” She said smiling.

“Hun thank you and, only beauties like us stay close to John.” I said smirking.

“Please excuse me, I am kinda busy in the kitchen.” She said walking away.

I watched the way her h¡ps and butts bounced in the trousers. They threaten to fall out from the wa-ist.

“Oh God, why would John employ someone like this. She is too beautiful to be here. Tho not as beautiful as I am.” I thought.

I know just what to do. When I frustrate her, she will have no choice than to leave here.

“Hey maid, get me a drink!” I yelled. I brought out my phone and started chatting with you know? My lovers online.

“Here ma’am.” She said placing it on the table in front of me.

“Where is the ice?” I asked angrily.

“I am sorry. I will get it now.” She said running to the kitchen when I noticed the slippers she wore.

“Hey come back.” I yelled standing up.

“I am Charlotte. you know to make it east for you to call me.” She said smiling as she got to my front.

“I don’t care what your filthy name is, you garbage.! Where did you get those?” I asked angrily pointing to the slippers on her feet.

“Davis gave them to me.” She answered bowing slightly.

“And he didn’t tell you it is my baby’s own?” I added sweeping my hair behind my ear.

“No he didn’t. I am sorry ma’am, I will remove it right away.” She said running away.

“Did I ask you to leave?” I said and she came rubbing back to me. I am really enjoying this.

“Am sorry ma’am.” She said p-nting.

“Now leave, remove that slippers and get me my ice!” I yelled as she ran from my presence.

I sat on the couch tiredly, my throat was itchy due to the way I yelled and my head was hurting a little.

Episode 6

Charlotte's POV

I walked to the kitchen barefooted, I was so scared of been chased out by Mr John’s fiancée. She is kinda harsh but she is beautiful.

I never thought Mr John would have a fiancée. Tho I am sure he is old enough, I wasn’t expecting someone like her. She is kinda annoying.

The food I prepared was ready but I didn’t know if I should serve it already since Mr John and Davis are yet to be back.

I walked out of the kitchen and peeped to look into the living room to see Mr John’s fiancée sleeping.

I walked into my room and sat on the bed tiredly, It was 2pm already. The time is flying very fast.

I laid on my bed to have a nap, and I was at the edge of sleeping deeply when I heard some voices in the living room.

“Mr john?” I thought happily jumping out of my bed.

I ran out of my room happily to see Mr John k-ssing his fiancée. I had a kind of unexplainable feeling. Mr John deserves a nicer lady not her.

“Charlotte are you okay? He is your boss.” My inner mind said and I nodded in agreement.

I stood on the stairs watching them. I saw Davis beside them smiling as usual.

“I missed you.” The Lady said happily disengaging from the k-ss.

“I miss you too Angelica.” He replied smiling.” So she is Angelica. ” I thought still looking at them.

“So you didn’t miss me.” Davis said but Miss Angelica ignored him talking to Mr John.

“Davis please don’t start.” Mr John said laughing. He is really happy to see her.

“I guess I will go meet someone that missed me.” Davis said walking towards the stairs.

I ran to my room in haste jumping on my bed and pretending to be asleep. I heard a knock on the door as expected.

I stood up and moved to the door to open it. I met Davis at the door smiling widely.

“Hi.” He said smiling.

“Hi, come in.” I said smiling as I opened the door w¡der for him to come in.

“How was your day at home all alone?” He asked as soon as he got in,side my room.

“It was nice. The house was neat before, so cleaning wasn’t that hærd.” I said smiling.

“That is John for you. He loves cleaning.” He replied smiling.

“I am really grateful for the gift You and Mr John got me. I wasn’t expecting that much.” I said shyly.

“I? I didn’t even know when he ordered it.” He said laughing.

“Huh? Even the underwear?” I asked shockingly.

“Yeah.” He said nodding.

“How come he knows so much about these things?” I asked myself aloud.

“Angelica is a model, most times they go out to get stuffs like that.” He said smiling while I kept a “ohhhh” look.

“Don’t be surprised, John is very nice.” He added.

“I see that, Mr john is an angel sent to me.” I said smiling.

“Enough of this Mr john okay? He is John, you are making him look 30.” He said standing up.

“Isn’t he 30?” I thought biting my lower lip.

“I am off. Just came to greet you, and lest I forget. The aroma from that kitchen is killing please come serve the food quick.” He said and left the room.

I smiled still thinking about Mr John’s kindness. So he actually bought me those underwears.

John's POV

I sat in the living room with Angelica and she kept talking and talking. She didn’t even give me the chance to freshen up nor rest.

I nodded to everything she was saying but I wasn’t really listening. My mind was with Charlotte.

Immediately Davis left this place, I knew he was heading to Charlotte’s room. I hope he doesn’t do anything stupid or else, I am going to skin him alive.

“Baby are you even listening?” Angelica said holding my hand.

“Oh yes. I am” I replied nodding.

“I said why are you still allowing Davis to stay here?” She asked.

“C’mon, he is my best friend. He keeps my company since you have decided not to have time for me.” I said sadly.

“It is not like that baby. You know my job is a very busy one.” She said pouting her mouth.

“Hmm I understand.” I said looking at the floor and then I saw my slippers that was given to Charlotte close to Angelica.

“What is that doing here?” I asked pointing at my slippers.

“Oh thank you for reminding me. That maid of yours wore it.” She said rolling her eyes.

“Her name is Charlotte, and what is wrong with her wearing it?” I asked.

“Baby, she has no right to wear your stuffs. She is your maid, moreover I don’t like her. Send her away.” She said angrily.

“Angelica she is human also. And for me to send her away because of you, that can never happen.” I said in a final tone.

“John, seriously.” She said looking at me sadly.

“Yes, I have had enough of your troubles. Don’t start another one, I gave her the slippers myself.” I said looking away from her.

“Mr John, the food is served.” Charlotte said from the dinning room. I looked back to look at her and Oh geez she was on fire.

The red top and white trousers was so good on her. Her h¡ps were killing in them, I stared at her speechlessly.

Then I remembered I was with Angelica. I looked at her and I saw her staring at Charlotte in anger.

“Thank you. You can go.” I said smiling while she nodded and left. I looked away trying so hærd not to look at her backside.

Episode 7

Angelica's POV

I watched how John looked at that girl, I am sure he is going to love her and I can never take that. I have to make sure he doesn’t like her. He is mine!

“Let us eat.” John said standing up. I nodded as we moved to the dinning table, I opened the fancy pot disgustingly.

“Oh God it looks so nice and the aroma is killing.” I thought but kept a disgusting look on.

“Wow, this smells nice.” John said inhaling the aroma.

“Let’s see if it tastes the way it looks.” I said rolling my eyes and sitting down.

“At least I have seen somebody to cook for me, not like you that I have never tasted your food.” He said without looking at me.

“John are you mocking me?” I asked angrily.

“No not at all, just saying my mind.” He said smiling. Charlotte came to us smiling, I so much hate that girl.

“Mr John can i serve you now?” She said smiling.

“Yes please.” John replied smiling. She started serving John and I saw he kept staring at her smiling.

She was about serving my meal when I stopped her. “Don’t you dare serve me with those filthy hands.’ I said smacking her hand off the food.

” Angelica can’t you be polite for once? ” John said angrily. Charlotte bowed her head slightly in shame and I loved that.

“I told you I don’t like her.” I yelled.

“And I am telling you I like her okay?” He replied yelling too.

“Wo wo, what is going on here?” Davis asked as soon as he got close to us. I shot him a deadly look and he ignored me and looked at Charlotte.

“Aren’t you eating?” He asked her.

“I will.” She replied calmly.

“Then sit with us.” He said smiling.

“What? She isn’t sitting here!” I yelled in anger.

“Oh yes she is.” John said making me surprise.

“John!’ I yelled.

“Charlotte sit!” He said eating his food.

“Mr John, I really appreciate this, but I think it is best I eat in my room to avoid troubles ” she said walking away swaying that her stupid big booty.

“Smart girl.” I thought smirking. I looked at John and was about to talk but he shut me up.

“Eat.” He said in a final tone. I swallowed hærd thinking of what to do to that Charlotte girl.

Charlotte's POV

I walked to my room with my food feeling really sad. Why am I so unfortunate, I thought I would finally be happy and now Miss Angelica.

I sat on my bed and started eating slowly. This house is sure going to hell with Miss Angelica here.

I heard a knock on my door and I knew it was Davis. I am becoming fond of him. I placed my food on the drawer and walked to the door.

I opened the door and I saw Mr John in front of me.

“Mr John.” I called in surprise.

“Hi.” He said smiling.

“Hi, come in.” I said opening up for him. He went in and I looked out the door to see if Miss Angelica was coming.

“She isn’t coming.” I heard Mr John say. I nodded and closed the door in relieve, I don’t want any troubles.

I went to him and stood some metres away from him bowing my head.

“How was your day?” He asked and I felt his gaze on my body.

“Fine Sir.” I relied.

“Stop calling me say, I told you I am john. You are make me look old.” He said.

“I am sorry about that.” I replied still bowing.

“Do you love the clothes?” He asked.

“Yes, thank you so much. They suit me well.” I said raising up my head and smiling.

“Finally you looked at me.” He said smiling. I blushed shyly nodding.

“The cloth looks nice on you, I am happy you love it.” He said smiling.

“Sir, I am honored.” I said shyly.

“And the shoes?” He asked standing up.

“Great, I love them.” I said looking at where I placed the shoes. I looked at his face and I saw he wanted to ask me about the underwears but he was shy to ask.

“I also love the underwears, they are exactly my size.” I said and I saw his eyes w¡den. And for the first time he avoided my gaze.

“They weren’t too big nor small?” He asked still avoiding my face.

“No, they are perfect. I never knew you had an idea about my size.” I said looking at him confidently. I knew this time around he will really be shy.

“Well Davis picked them.” He said.

“Really? He told me he didn’t even know you bought them.” I said and I saw the look on his face.

“Idiot!” He mumbled scratching his hair.

“It is fine sir.” I said trying not to laugh.

“Charlotte I am just 24. Stop this sir of a thing.” He said coming close to me.

“24?” I asked I’m surprise. He is way younger than I thought, tho he looked it but I never thought he would have been this established.

“Yes.” He said walking to the door.

“Your food was amazing. I don’t regret having you with me.” He said before walking out, and I found myself blushing really hærd.

Episode 8

Theme: I Bought Her

Davis's POV

John left Angelica and I in the living room, I felt so uncomfortable sitting close to her! She is so annoying and proud.

She kept chewing her gum loudly disturbing the atmosphere. To be honest, I don’t like her for John one bit. She was caught cheating on him and I don’t know why he is still with her.

I prefer Charlotte to her. Tho she is a maid, she has everything a man would ask for. She can even cook better than Angelica. She is just so useless.

“Will you stop staring at me?” She said raising her head from her phone to look at me.

“Who told you I am staring at you?” I said looking away quick.

“Look her Davis, I know very well that you like me and you know that feeling will lead you to your death when John hears.” She said grinning.

“Don’t deceive yourself Angelica no guy will ever like you with this your behaviour.” I said giggling.

“And what do you mean by that?” She asked angrily.

“Nothing.” I said grinning. She stood up and walked up the stairs hissing loudly.

“Please fumble one more time so Charlotte can take over John’s heart.” I prayed silently. I will be the happiest man on earth to see Angelica chased out of John’s heart.

John came to the living room blushing really hærd. I stood up furrowing my brows at him, I know he is coming from Charlotte’s room.

Hope he didn’t k-ss her, cos I don’t understand why he is blushing this way.

“Hey john, whatsup.” I said looking at him with suspicion. He sat down lot staring in air.

“Don’t tell me you did anything stupid.” I said sitting close to him.

He looked at me and I saw his countenance change.

“You!! Why did you tell her I got the underwears myself.” He said spanking my head.

“Hey, I was just trying to help.” I said moving away from him.

“Trying to help and you made me blush in front of her.” He said shyly.

“Awwwn this is so rom-ntic.” I said grinning stupidly.

“Baby!!! I need your attention!” Angelica yelled from upstairs making both of us gro-n in disgust.

“Go meet your baby.” I said rolling my eyes.

“She is so tiring.” He replied moving to the stairs.

John's POV

I got to our room and I saw Angelica combing her hair in front of the mirror.

“Baby can you help me comb my hair?” She said smiling.

“Angelica is that why you called me all the way from downstairs?” I asked in frustration.

“C’mon baby, can’t you help me?” She said pouting her mouth. I smiled and moved closer to her holding her from behind.

I started k-ssing her, we haven’t had s*x for more than a year now. She keeps complaining about work stress and the likes.

“John stop it. You are ruining my dress.” She said pushing me off her and dusting her dress like I poured sand on her.

“Angelica it’s been almost two years I have touched you. Why are you doing this?” I asked sadly.

“John, you know I am a very busy Lady. This modelling work isn’t any easy thing you know, but don’t worry before the end of this year you will touch me.” She said putting on her l¡pstick.

“Angelica we are just in June!” I said in surprise.

“Baby before December I believe I would have won the competition with Phoebe.” She said still concentrating on the mirror.

“Angelica this is not fair.” I said sadly. She moved close to me smiling

“John I promise. I need to go now, I have a photo shoot. Bye” she said moving to the door.

“Not even a goodbye k-ss?” I asked.

“My l¡pstick.” She said pointing at her l-ips.

“Good bye.” She said and walked out swaying her butts.

I sighed walking to my closet, I need to swim. Atleast I should make myself happy if she isn’t making me happy.

I wore my swimming suit, it was a body hug and all my abs were showing even my d**k size was kinda exposed.

I walked out of my room heading to the pool. Night was fast approaching and everywhere was dark. I got to the pool and sat in it loving the feel of the water on my body.

I started swimming and performing some underwater stunts. I raised my head up from the water and the light in one of the rooms came on.

“This is Charlotte’s room.” I thought looking into it through the transparent glass wall. A person outside can see the in,side clearly but it is otherwise when in,side.

I was still looking when I saw Charlotte stand in front of the mirror staring into it. Her b**bs and butts were so evident giving her a crazy figure 8 shape.

To my amusement, she started undressing. She removed her top leaving her top named except for her b**bs covered by one of the bras i got her.

“It suits her well.” I thought as I felt my rod twitch in between my legs. She bent and was about removing her trousers when I looked away quickly.

“Staring at her now won’t do you any good. You know she needs her privacy too, you are a gentle man. Look away and keep swimming” my inner mind said.

I oblige and swam deep into the pool trying not to be tempted to look at Charlotte.

“You know Angelica has everything this girl has.” My inner mind said.

“On that one, I disagree totally.” I thought as i continued swimming.

I finished swimming and I came out drying my hair with my towel. My suit hugged my body so tight and I could feel every part of my body was visible.

I walked into the house through the back door and the first person I saw was Charlotte. She was coming my way.

“Mr John.” She called bowing.

“Please stop calling me that.” I said drying my body as I remembered what I saw at the pool.

“Hope you enjoyed your swimming?” She asked smiling.

“Oh yes. Can you swim?” I asked nervously.

“No but I would love too. My aunt always went swimming but I couldn’t think of going with her because I don’t know how to swim.” She said sadly.

“Really? I could teach you if you want Me to.” I said hoping she would say yes.

“John I don’t want to stress you.” She said and my heart leaped for joy. Finally she called me John.

“C’mon Charlotte. I insist, tomorrow is Saturday. I will be less busy so we could do something.” I said grinning.

“Okay, but I don’t have a swimming suit.” She said sadly.

“That is not a problem. I will get one for you. See you tomorrow at the pool.” I said walking away.

I will finally get to touch her body. Oh God this is so great!!!

Episode 9

Charlotte's POV

“What a bright beautiful Saturday.” I said stretching in front of my glassy wall. I opened the window and the beautiful sun ray entered into my room.

I placed my hand on my head dressing my rough hair in front of the standing mirror. I looked at the clock and saw it was 7am already.

I removed my clothes and walked to the bathroom to have my bath. Today is going to be so interesting.

Mr John would be teaching me how to swim, I can’t wait to finally know how to. But, I haven’t gotten my swimming suit yet, so sad.

Mr John looked so hot in his swimming suit yesterday. His abs were so evident and I was even tempted to look down to his manh-od.

But I cautioned myself, he isn’t any where my match. He even has a model girlfriend who looks very beautiful. Charlotte stop day dreaming!

I finished having my bath and I came out tieing my skimpy Towel. The length ended right underneath my butts. If I mistakenly bend, I will be totally unclad.

I heard a knock on my door, I held my towel very tight.

“I am dressing!” I yelled.

“Okay, Good morning. Your swimming suit is here, size it to check if it suits you. I will be waiting at the pool for you.” I heard Mr John reply.

“Thanks.” I replied blushing. I heard him walk away from the door, I ran to the door to pick up the swimming suit.

I saw a fancy bag and I knew it was the suit. I picked it up looking sideways before locking my door.

I opened the bag and I saw a small note in it. “IT WASN’T EASY GETTING THIS SIZE, I HOPE IT SUITS YOU.” I read blushing hærd.

“Mr john is so nice.” I thought as I wore my swimming suit. It held my body like its life depended on it.

I moved to the mirror to check it out. It was just like an underwear, the upper part was like a b-ra with a singlet attached to the p-nt downwards.

I could see my t–s from the side of my two arms, And the p-nt covered my butts barely. I have seen these on ladies in movies but I don’t feel comfortable in it.

“Won’t Mr John be angry when I tell him I am not comfortable in it. You know, he bought it himself.” I thought still checking my self in the mirror.

I placed my hand on my large h¡ps, when an idea popped in my mind. I walked to toilet and picked up my towel.

I tied it round me and I felt a little bit of comfort. Atleast I will have this on until I enter the pool. I packed my hair in a ponytail before I walked out of my room in my towel.

I saw Davis in the living room watching TV. I tried tiptoeing so he wouldn’t see me on towels but eventually he did.

“Hey Charlotte.” He called stating at me from head to toe.

“Hi Davis!” I said walking briskly from him. If I stood there another minute more I may end up falling.

John's POV

I sat in the pool after swimming for some minutes waiting for Charlotte. I had to watch series of models perform in swimming suit before I could choose one for Charlotte.

Davis didn’t even bother to help, he is so annoying. All he did was laugh at me as I did my research. I will make sure he doesn’t eat in this house today.

I was still thinking, when I saw Charlotte walking towards the pool in the sun. My God, she was looking so hot. She had a towel round her but her stubborn h¡ps kept raising it up.

She walked towards me smiling and I felt my d**k rise in my suit. She got closer to me but u couldn’t get my eyes off her.

“John.” She called shyly and I responded by blinking helplessly.

“Hey” she called again.

“Ahh hey.. Hi” I said stammering looking away from her.

“I am ready, and thanks for the suit” She said smiling

“Its okay, but you know you can’t come in with the towel around you.” I said grinning.

“Yeah, I will remove it.” She said.

“Okay.” I replied eagerly. She moved her hand to her towel and released it making it fall to her feet.

“Holy shit!” I mumbled as I stared at her body. I felt my body turning hot, I couldn’t control my eyes anymore.

My eyes landed on her chest and then moved to her h¡ps. Her V was curved out by the tight suit p-nties. Her b-obs were so full and she had a wonderful belly button.

She walked closer bending to sit on the pool edge and I could see her t–s clearly. I wiped the water off my face to get a better view of her body.

“This is going to be a wonderful training.” I thought still drooling over her. I looked at her face and I saw her blushing really hærd.

I moved close to her and I stretched out my hand to take hers. She gave me her hand and I pulled her gradually into the pool.

I felt her shivering in my arms, she really has a lot to learn. I pray I can teach her well with this body I am seeing.

“I need you to trust me now ” I said pulling her close to me gradually, trying to avoid her b**bs. She nodded tho she was still shivering.

“The first thing I want to teach you is how to hold your breath.” I said.

“Okay.” She said fearfully.

“Calm down Charlotte, you will be fine okay?” I said giving her a reassuring smile.

“Okay.” She said trying to smile.

“Now breath in as much hair as you can, and hold it as long as you can. I will time you.” I said smiling.

“Okay but please don’t let go of my hands, I am scared.” She said.

“I won’t, don’t worry.” I said smiling. She nodded then closed her eyes, she drew in hair through her nostrils and I saw her b**ba move up as she did.

Holy shit, God help me to survive.

Episode 10

Charlotte's POV

I breathed in much air as I could and I held my breath. I closed my eyes so as to concentrate on the exercise. I waited in expectation of Mr John’s time but I didn’t hear anything.

I was running out of patience already, so I decided to stop the excersice to look at my coach. I opened my eyes to see Mr John staring at my b**bs.

I felt my cheeks go red immediately.

“Arr Mr John.” I said smirking.

“Ye.. Yes.” He replied shaking his head as he looked at me.

“I am done with the exercise. How many minutes was it?” I asked still holding him firm.

“Err..rhhnn, you know don’t worry about that. We can skip that exercise for now.” He said grinning.

“Okay, so what is next?” I asked eagerly.

“The next is to know how to flap your legs in the water.” He said pulling me to himself by my wa-ist. I gasped as he did but I composed myself.

“So how is this done?” I asked nervously.

“You need to lie flat in the water. You will hold the pool edge as a support, then you start flapping your legs in it.” He said !moving me to the edge of the pool gently.

My heart was beating very fast, I was so scared but I actually felt safe in Mr John’s arms. We got to the edge and I held onto the tiled floor.

“Now I am going to leave you to start flapping, your head is going to be up so don’t be scared.” He said smiling as he released his grip from me gradually.

His hands was almost off when I pushed my b**ts back mistakenly hitting his d**k.

“Opps.” I gasped as I stood still. I felt his hærd d**k against my b**ts and I must confess he is huge.

I turned my head slowly to look at him and I saw him staring blankly at me. He wasn’t moving or talking he just kept staring. Oh no, is he angry?

“Mr John, I am so sorry, I was too forward.” I said biting my lower lip. I saw his gaze move into the water and landed right on my butts.

“It okay. You can continue.” He said looking away in haste and swimming away from me. Charlotte you need to be careful next time, you may not be as lucky as this.

John's POV

“Charlotte is killing me!!!” I thought as I watched her b**ts dance while she flapped her feet in the pool.

She looked so serious and i knew she had always wished to learn how to swimming for a very long time.

I stared at her and I kept having crazy er-ctions. John snap out, she is your maid and you have a beautiful girlfriend.

“My legs are hurting already.” Charlotte said tiredly.

“Ohh, that is enough for a start, tho you need to keep practicing every time.” I said moving close to her.

“Give me your hand.” I stretched out my hands to take hers. She placed her hand on mine and I pulled her closer slowly.

“Now we have to lie with our wh0le body in the water.” I said smiling.

“Wh0le body? You mean plus my head.” She asked with her eyes w¡dened.

“Yes of course, with your head.” I replied.

“Don’t worry I will guide you. You can’t drown, all you need to do is to stay brave.” I said as I noticed she was shivering.

“Now come closer, we are going into the water hand-in-hand.” I said laying gradually in the pool pulling her slowly with me.

“Oh God, I am scared.” She said closing her eyes tight.

“Are you ready?” I asked as soon as the water was at her neck level.

“Ahhhhhhhh!! Ready.” She said sighing.

I drew her into water holding her firmly, soon we were in,side the water. I kept close watch on her and I saw she was coping.

I moved close to her raising up her hands in the water to make her balanced. I started moving her hands and we started moving.

It was about 3 minutes, then I pulled her up with me. She hugged me tight, pressing her b**bs on my chest.

She was breathing very hærd and I understood that she was still a learner.

“Calm down and breathe well.” I said rubbing her unclad back. I was tempted to move my hands down to her b**ts but I cautioned myself ignoring her crazy curves.

“That was.. Was.. Fantastic!” She said as she shivered. I disengaged making her look at me, her l-ips were shaking.

I stared at her l-ips speechlessly as she stared at me. Her hair was scattered all over her shoulders and mine all over my face.

I felt her move closer to me in the water, I held her by the wa-ist before thinking and started moving my head to hers.

A voice in my head kept shouting “She is your maid!!! Do you want to k-ss her!!! You have a girlfriend!”.

I don’t really care about voices in my head you know. Our faces were some inches apart and I couldn’t wait to land my l-ips on her soft looking l-ips.

I need to take it slowly. Finally, how head touched and I could feel our nose meet. I tilted my head ready to take her l-ips.

“Hey!!!! What are you guys doing.” Davis yelled making me moved away from Davis.

“Davis!!!!!!!!!!!” I yelled in anger.

“Opps sorry.” He said running away and I saw Charlotte giggling. I hate him so much, he never ceases to interrupt my plans!

Episode 11

Davis's POV

I ran into the house grinning stupidly. Did I just see John almost k-ssing Charlotte!! This is so much fun!!! I love this. I prefer her to the useless Angelica.

“Davis!!!” John yelled behind me and I couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

“I ruined your plans right?” I asked giggling.

“Yes you fool!” He said slumping on the couch angrily.

“Sorry brother, but you almost k-ssed her.” I said teasingly.

“Yes I know! and you came to spoil everything stupid!” He replied angrily making me laugh.

“But John, you have a girlfriend. A fiancée for that matter.” I said smiling.

“A girlfriend that doesn’t even have my time, imagine Angelica telling that it will be December before I bleep her.” He said and I bursted into another laughter.

“Seriously? December! You would have been dead bro!” I said trying to stop my laughter.

“I don’t even know how to cope when Charlotte is around. Her body is so tempting” he replied sighing.

“I will tell you one thing today. Angelica isn’t worth you, you need a caring girl with mad curves and that girl is Charlotte. She is even a V-rgin.” I whispering into her ears.

“Davis!” John yelled clenching his fist. I knew that V-rgin part caught him unaware.

“Sorry. But think about it.” I said and he sighed in response.

“So tell me how the ‘swimming lesson’ went.” I said winking at him and using my fingers to demonstrate quotation marks.

Bianca's POV

I sighed heavily looking around my shop.

“Rubbie, I need to get somewhere keep the shop going. I will be back soon” I said carrying my bag and walking out heading to John’s house.

I got into my car and started driving to John’s house. I am actually happy going there, I can’t wait to see my Crush Davis.

I have been having feelings for him since the day I saw him with John, but I was too shy to talk to him. Tho I noticed he kept stating at me too.

I got to the house and packed my car properly before coming down. I walked to the door knocking it nervously.

I waited a little before the door knob turned, the door opened and I saw Davis at the door. He saw me and I saw his eyes w¡den.

I smiled shyly bowing my head slightly.

“Bianca, wow I am honored. Come in.” He said grinning.

“Thank you.” I replied shyly walking into the house. I saw John sitting on the couch and as he saw me, he smiled widely.

“Bianca.” He called k-ssing my cheeks.

“This is a surprising visit.” Davis said coming close to where I stood.

“Sit dear.” John said pointing to the couch close to where Davis stood.

“Thank you.” I said sitting down, and I saw John wink at Davis making me blush.

“Charlotte please can you bring some drinks?” John yelled. I wonder who Charlotte is.

“So why this honorable visit.” Davis said sitting close to me. I felt I cheeks beginning to hurt.

“Angelica sent me here to pick up her hair comb, so I won’t be staying long.” I said pouting my mouth.

“Ouch, that hurts.” Davis said touching his chest.

“Sorry.” I said giggling. I looked up to see a very beautiful curvy girl dropping some drinks on the centre table.

“Wow” I said before thinking.

“What?” Davis asked.

“Nothing.” I said shaking my head still staring at Charlotte. She looked at me smiling beautifully, she is so cute.

“Enjoy” she said walking away and I couldn’t help but stare at her backside. God she is huge!! Angelica is no match for her.

Episode 12

Theme: I Bought Her

John's POV

“Bianca will you continue staring without saying anything?” I asked trying not to laugh.

“Oh I am so sorry.” She said sipping her drink.

“You stared at her for good seven minutes!” Davis added grinning.

“Where did you get her? I mean when did you appoint her as a maid.” She asked.

“Well don’t call her a maid, she is Charlotte. She is just here to help do some stuffs.” I said nodding.

“Wow, she is super beautiful and huge. Has my sister seen her?” She asked looking at me.

“Yes, she has.” I smirked.

“I understand, no need explaining.” She said smiling.

“Yeah.’ Davis and I chorused. She looked at Davis and he stared back smiling like the idiot he is. I need to give them their privacy.

” I will leave you two.” I said standing up.

“Thanks for being reasonable.” Davis said smiling.

“He-Goat.” I mumbled walking to my room. I saw Charlotte in the kitchen doing some things on the cabinet.

I stood there admiring her body. She had another jean I got for her on and a blue body hug top that stopped right on her huge butts. Have you read Coolval stories today?

She looked back and found me staring at her. I quickly looked away avoiding her gaze.

“Mr John, you are here.” She said smiling.

“I thought we are done with this Mr of a thing.” I said walking into the kitchen.

“Sorry, I tend to forget often.” She replied bowing slightly.

“So how did you find the swimming lesson?” I asked leaned on the cabinet while she faced me, chopping the vegetables.

“It was very nice John. You are a good coach.” She said happily.

“Gracais.” I said bowing like they always do after a song presentation in Spain. I heard her laugh and I loved it.

“I would love to learn everyday. I can’t wait to start diving into the water.” She said as soon as I stopped my drama.

“Awwn, I don’t think everyday would be possible. You know I go to work Mondays to Fridays.” I said sadly.

“Its okay, I will just wait till you are available. Or do you know anyone who could be a good coach too?” She asked sadly.

“I am a very good coach.” Davis answered interrupting our discussion.

“Davis!” I said within gritted teeth.

“Charlotte, my work at the company isn’t that important and I could have a leave since John my friend here is the CEO.” He said grinning.

“Wow that would be nice.” She said and I shot Davis a deadly look. He wanted to laugh but he held his mouth with his palm.

“Don’t mind Davis, he is very important in the company, Just ignore him. ” I said smiling. I can never let him come near Charlotte, he is so annoying.

“C’mon John.” He said pouting his mouth and Charlotte looked at me too with a pleading face.

“Never! Davis I thought you were talking to your girlfriend Bianca, you know it isn’t nice to keep her waiting.” I said walking close to me.

“Ah….ah.. Yea, I almost forgot.” He said running out of the kitchen. He knows well what I would have done to him if he didn’t leave that very minute.

“Wow I never knew that lady was Davis girlfriend. She is really lucky to have a funny guy like Davis.” She said smiling.

“Why do you think she is lucky?” I asked narrowing my eyes.

“Ladies like guys that are very funny. Even when you sad, he will always do something to make you smile, and Davis is one of them.” She said giggling.

“Really? Only Davis?” I asked rolling my eyes.

“Yes.” She replied smiling and I felt like strangling Davis. Why must he always act funny.

“So guys like me doesn’t have chances of any ladies heart since we aren’t funny?” I asked sadly.

“No John, let me say this. You are the sweetest man I have ever met in my life.” She said looking at me.

“Really?” I said happily.

“Yes John. I mean, which boss will get his maid new clothes, shoes, underwear and even teach her how to swim. You are amazing, and any lady would be lucky to have you.” She said smiling softly.

My heart swelled at her words, and I couldn’t help but grin. “Thanks, Charlotte. That means a lot coming from you,” I said, my voice softer than I intended.

She blushed, looking down at the vegetables she was chopping. “You’re welcome, John,” she replied shyly.

For a moment, we stood there in comfortable silence, the only sound being the rhythmic chopping of her knife. I wanted to say more, to keep this moment going, but I didn’t want to push too far. She was already opening up more than I expected.

“So, what are you cooking today?” I asked, leaning closer to peek at the ingredients.

“Oh, just some pasta with a creamy sauce and grilled chicken. I hope you’ll like it,” she said, her eyes lighting up as she talked about food.

“If it’s anything like your last meal, I’m sure it’ll be fantastic,” I said, winking at her. She giggled, and I swear it was the sweetest sound I’d heard all day.

“I’ll let you get back to it. Don’t want to distract the chef,” I said, stepping back.

“You’re not distracting me,” she said quickly, then bit her lip as if she hadn’t meant to say that out loud.

I raised an eyebrow, smirking. “Good to know. I’ll check in later, Chef Charlotte.” I turned to leave, feeling lighter than I had in days.

As I walked back to the living room, I couldn’t shake the warmth in my chest. Charlotte was different—genuine, kind, and so damn beautiful it hurt to look at her sometimes. But I had Angelica, and I needed to figure out what I was doing before I made a mess of everything.

Charlotte's POV

I watched John walk out of the kitchen, my heart still racing from our conversation. He was so easy to talk to, and the way he looked at me made me feel… seen. Not just as a maid, but as a person. No one had ever made me feel like that before.

I shook my head, focusing on the vegetables in front of me. “Don’t be silly, Charlotte,” I muttered to myself. “He’s your boss, and he has a fiancée. A beautiful, successful fiancée.”

But the way he smiled at me, the way he cared about what I thought… it was hard not to feel something. I sighed, pushing the thoughts away. I had work to do, and I couldn’t afford to get caught up in daydreams.

I finished prepping the ingredients and started on the sauce, humming softly to myself. Cooking always calmed me down, gave me something to focus on. By the time I was done, the kitchen smelled amazing, and I felt proud of what I’d made.

I was setting the table when I heard the doorbell ring. My heart skipped a beat, wondering if it was Angelica. I hoped not—I wasn’t ready for another round of her attitude.

“Charlotte, can you get the door?” John called from the living room.

“Sure!” I replied, wiping my hands on my apron and heading to the front door. I opened it to find a young woman standing there, looking a bit nervous. She was pretty, with a kind face and a shy smile.

“Hi,” she said. “Is John here?”

“Yes, he’s inside. Come in,” I said, stepping aside to let her in. “I’m Charlotte, by the way.”

“Nice to meet you, Charlotte. I’m Bianca, Angelica’s sister,” she said, her smile growing a little.

“Oh, nice to meet you too!” I said, trying to hide my surprise. She seemed so different from Angelica—warmer, friendlier. “Let me get John for you.”

I led her to the living room, where John and Davis were lounging on the couch. As soon as Davis saw Bianca, his face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning.

“Bianca!” he exclaimed, jumping up. “What’s up?”

John chuckled, standing up as well. “Hey, Bianca. Good to see you again.”

“Hi, guys,” Bianca said, blushing slightly under Davis’s intense gaze. “I just came to pick up something for Angelica. Her hair comb, I think?”

“Oh, right,” John said, nodding. “It’s probably in my room. I’ll go grab it.”

“I’ll come with you,” Bianca said quickly, then glanced at Davis. “If that’s okay?”

“Go ahead,” Davis said, grinning. “I’ll keep Charlotte company.”

John shot Davis a playful glare before leading Bianca upstairs. I couldn’t help but smile at how obvious Davis’s crush on Bianca was. It was kind of adorable.

“So, Charlotte,” Davis said, plopping back onto the couch and patting the seat next to him. “How’s life in the mansion treating you?”

I laughed, sitting down. “It’s… different. But good. John’s been really kind to me.”

“Yeah, he’s a good guy,” Davis said, nodding. “Just don’t let Angelica get to you. She’s all bark, no bite.”

I sighed, thinking about how Angelica had treated me. “I’m trying. She’s not exactly my biggest fan.”

“Don’t worry about her,” Davis said, waving a hand. “She’s just intimidated. You’re way cooler than she is.”

I blushed, shaking my head. “I don’t know about that.”

“Trust me,” Davis said, winking. “You’re the real deal, Charlotte.”

Before I could respond, John and Bianca came back downstairs, John holding a sparkly hair comb. “Got it,” he said, handing it to Bianca.

“Thanks, John,” Bianca said, tucking it into her bag. “I should get going. Don’t want to keep Angelica waiting.”

“Tell her I said hi,” John said, though his tone lacked enthusiasm.

“Will do,” Bianca said, then turned to me. “It was really nice meeting you, Charlotte. Maybe we’ll hang out sometime?”

“I’d like that,” I said, smiling genuinely. Bianca seemed like someone I could actually get along with.

Davis walked her to the door, and I caught the way he lingered, saying something that made her laugh before she left. When he came back, he had a goofy grin on his face.

“Somebody’s smitten,” John teased, smirking.

“Shut up, man,” Davis said, but he was still smiling.

I excused myself to finish setting the table, my mind buzzing with everything that had happened. Between John’s kindness, Davis’s teasing, and Bianca’s unexpected warmth, I felt like I was starting to find my place here. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that Angelica was going to make things difficult.

Theme: I Bought Her

Angelica's POV

I sat in my dressing room after the photoshoot, scrolling through my phone. My feet were killing me, and I was in no mood for anyone’s nonsense. The shoot had gone well, but I couldn’t stop thinking about that maid at John’s house. Charlotte. Just the thought of her made my blood boil.

My phone buzzed, and I saw a text from Bianca.

📲 Got your comb. On my way back now.

📲 Good. Did you see anything weird at John’s place?

📲 Weird? Not really. Just hung out with John, Davis, and Charlotte for a bit.

📲 CHARLOTTE? You’re on a first-name basis with the maid now?

📲 Chill, Angie. She’s actually really nice. You should give her a chance.

I rolled my eyes, tossing my phone onto the vanity. Nice? Please. That girl was a threat, and I wasn’t about to let her waltz into my life and ruin everything. John was mine, and I’d worked too hard to keep him to let some curvy maid steal his attention.

I grabbed my bag and headed out, my mind racing with plans. I needed to visit John’s house again, make it clear to Charlotte that she was nothing more than hired help. And maybe remind John why he was with me in the first place.

JOHN’S POV

Dinner was amazing, as expected. Charlotte had outdone herself with the pasta, and even Davis, who usually teased her, was too busy stuffing his face to say much. I caught her smiling as we praised her cooking, and it made me feel good to see her happy.

After dinner, we all sat in the living room, chatting and laughing. Charlotte had joined us, despite her initial hesitation, and I was glad she did. She was starting to feel like part of the group, not just a maid.

“So, Charlotte,” Davis said, leaning back with a grin. “What’s the secret to your cooking? You got some magic potion or what?”

She laughed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “No magic. Just a lot of practice. My aunt wasn’t much of a cook, so I had to learn early.”

“Well, you’re a pro now,” I said, smiling at her. “I’m gonna have to start working out more to burn off all this food.”

She blushed, looking down at her hands. “Thank you, John.”

Davis raised an eyebrow at me, and I knew he was thinking about our earlier conversation. I ignored him, focusing on Charlotte. She was so easy to talk to, so different from Angelica, who always seemed to have an agenda.

The doorbell rang, snapping me out of my thoughts. Charlotte stood up. “I’ll get it,” she said, heading to the door.

A moment later, I heard a familiar voice that made my stomach drop. “Where’s John?”

Angelica.

I exchanged a look with Davis, who rolled his eyes. Charlotte came back into the living room, Angelica trailing behind her like a storm cloud. She was dressed to kill, as usual, but her expression was anything but friendly.

“Baby!” Angelica said, rushing over to me and planting a kiss on my cheek. “I missed you.”

“Hey, Angelica,” I said, forcing a smile. “Didn’t expect you tonight.”

“I wanted to surprise you,” she said, her eyes darting to Charlotte, who was standing awkwardly by the couch. “And I see I came just in time. What’s going on here?”

“Nothing’s going on,” I said, my tone firm. “We just finished dinner. Charlotte made an amazing meal.”

Angelica’s smile tightened. “Oh, how… domestic. Charlotte, be a dear and get me a glass of wine, will you?”

Charlotte nodded, her face neutral. “Of course, ma’am.” She headed to the kitchen, and I felt a surge of irritation at Angelica’s tone.

“Angelica, can you ease up on her?” I said quietly, pulling her aside. “She’s doing her job, and she’s good at it.”

“Her job?” Angelica hissed, keeping her voice low. “Her job is to clean and cook, not sit around laughing with you and Davis like she’s part of the family.”

“She’s a person, not a robot,” I snapped. “And I’m not going to treat her like one just because you’re insecure.”

Angelica’s eyes widened, and for a moment, I thought she might explode. But she took a deep breath, plastering on a fake smile. “Fine, John. Whatever you say.”

Charlotte returned with the wine, setting it on the table in front of Angelica. “Here you go, ma’am.”

“Thank you,” Angelica said, her voice dripping with false sweetness. “You can go now. I’m sure you have dishes to wash or something.”

Charlotte hesitated, glancing at me. I nodded slightly, and she gave a small smile before heading back to the kitchen. I hated how Angelica was treating her, but I didn’t want to start a fight in front of everyone.

“So, Davis,” Angelica said, turning to him with a forced smile. “What’s new with you?”

Davis, bless him, didn’t miss a beat. “Oh, you know, just living the dream. How’s the modeling world treating you?”

As they talked, my mind was on Charlotte. I needed to find a way to make this right, to let her know she wasn’t just a maid to me. But with Angelica here, that was going to be harder than I thought.

Episode 14

Theme: I Bought Her

Charlotte's POV

I stood in the kitchen, washing the dishes as quietly as I could, but my mind was racing. Angelica’s words stung, even though I tried not to let them get to me. I knew she didn’t like me, but the way she dismissed me like I was nothing… it hurt more than I expected.

I scrubbed a plate harder than necessary, trying to focus on the task at hand. “You’re just the maid, Charlotte,” I whispered to myself. “Don’t expect anything else.”

But deep down, I couldn’t help but feel something for John. The way he stood up for me, the way he smiled when we talked—it made me feel like I mattered. And that scared me, because I knew it could never go anywhere. Not with Angelica in the picture.

I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see John leaning against the doorway, his arms crossed. He looked tired, but his eyes softened when they met mine.

“Hey,” he said, his voice low. “You okay?”

I forced a smile, nodding. “I’m fine, John. Just doing my job.”

He frowned, stepping closer. “Don’t let Angelica get to you. She’s… she’s got her own issues. It’s not about you.”

I sighed, setting the plate in the drying rack. “I know. But it’s hard not to feel like I’m in the way sometimes.”

“You’re not in the way,” he said firmly. “You’re part of this house now, Charlotte. And I’m glad you’re here.”

My heart skipped a beat, and I looked down, afraid he’d see how much his words meant to me. “Thank you,” I said softly. “That… that means a lot.”

He smiled, but there was something in his eyes—something I couldn’t quite read. “Get some rest, okay? You’ve done enough for today.”

I nodded, wiping my hands on a towel. “Good night, John.”

“Good night, Charlotte,” he said, lingering for a moment before turning to leave.

As I watched him go, I felt a mix of hope and fear. Hope that maybe, just maybe, he saw me as more than a maid. And fear that I was setting myself up for heartbreak.

John's POV

I walked back to the living room, my mind a mess. Talking to Charlotte always made me feel better, but it also made things more complicated. I couldn’t deny how I felt about her, but I had Angelica to deal with. And I wasn’t sure how much longer I could keep pretending everything was fine.

Angelica was still chatting with Davis, her laughter a little too loud, like she was trying to prove something. Davis caught my eye and gave me a look that said, “Good luck, man.”

“Angelica, can we talk?” I said, interrupting her mid-sentence.

She blinked, clearly annoyed, but nodded. “Sure, baby. What’s up?”

“In private,” I said, gesturing toward the hallway.

She rolled her eyes but followed me out of the living room. Once we were alone, I turned to face her, trying to keep my voice calm.

“What was that about?” I asked. “The way you treated Charlotte was uncalled for.”

Angelica crossed her arms, her lips pursed. “I don’t like her, John. She’s too… comfortable here. It’s not right.”

“Not right?” I repeated, my frustration growing. “She’s doing her job, and she’s good at it. What’s your problem with her?”

“My problem is that she’s not just a maid!” Angelica snapped. “I see the way you look at her, John. Don’t think I’m blind.”

I froze, caught off guard by her words. Was I that obvious? I shook my head, trying to deflect. “You’re imagining things, Angelica. Charlotte’s just someone I’m helping out. That’s it.”

“Helping out?” she scoffed. “You bought her, John. You paid a thousand dollars for her. Don’t act like it’s some charity case.”

I took a step closer, my anger flaring. “You’re crossing a line. Charlotte’s not like that, and you know it. This—” I held up the folder, “—is low, even for you.”

Angelica’s eyes narrowed. “I’m trying to protect you, John. You’re too blind to see what she’s doing, but I’m not. If you don’t get rid of her, I’ll make sure everyone knows who she really is.”

“Is that a threat?” I asked, my voice dangerously calm.

“It’s a promise,” she said, her voice cold. “I’m not losing you to some cheap maid. You have until tomorrow to decide—her or me.”

She turned and stormed off, her heels clicking furiously. I stood there, dripping wet, feeling like I’d just made things a hundred times worse.

Episode 15

Theme: I Bought Her

Charlotte's POV

The next morning, I woke up early, determined to keep busy and avoid thinking about last night. Angelica’s harsh words still lingered, but John’s kindness gave me the strength to push through. I slipped into one of the outfits John had bought me—a simple yellow sundress that made me feel pretty—and headed to the kitchen to start breakfast.

As I whisked eggs for an omelet, I heard the front door open and close. My heart sank, thinking it might be Angelica again. But when I peeked out, I saw Davis strolling in, carrying a bag of pastries.

“Morning, Charlotte!” he called, grinning. “Brought some croissants to go with whatever magic you’re whipping up in there.”

I smiled, relieved it was just him. “Thanks, Davis. That’s sweet of you.”

He set the bag on the counter and leaned against it, watching me work. “So, how you holding up after Hurricane Angelica last night?”

I laughed despite myself. “I’m okay. Just trying to stay out of her way.”

“Smart move,” he said, nodding. “But don’t let her scare you off. John’s got your back, you know.”

I blushed, focusing on the eggs. “Yeah, he’s been really kind.”

“Kind?” Davis snorted. “Girl, he’s practically building you a shrine. I’ve never seen him like this with anyone, not even Angelica.”

My hands stilled, and I looked up at him, unsure if he was teasing. “What do you mean?”

Davis raised an eyebrow, like it was obvious. “Come on, Charlotte. The guy’s smitten. He’s just too stubborn to admit it.”

I shook my head, turning back to the stove. “He’s just being nice, Davis. He’s got Angelica. I’m just… the maid.”

Davis sighed, crossing his arms. “Keep telling yourself that. But I’m telling you, something’s brewing, and it ain’t just your omelets.”

Before I could respond, John walked into the kitchen, looking like he hadn’t slept much. His hair was messy, and there were faint circles under his eyes, but he still managed a smile when he saw me.

“Morning, Charlotte,” he said, his voice warm. “Smells amazing in here.”

“Morning, John,” I replied, my heart doing a little flip. “Breakfast is almost ready.”

“And I brought croissants,” Davis added, holding up the bag. “You’re welcome.”

John chuckled, grabbing a glass of orange juice from the fridge. “Thanks, man. You’re good for something, at least.”

Davis clutched his chest dramatically. “Ouch, bro. That hurts.”

I giggled, setting the omelets on plates. The easy banter between them made the kitchen feel warm and lively, and for a moment, I forgot about Angelica’s harsh words.

We sat down to eat, and John kept stealing glances at me, making my cheeks heat up. Davis, of course, noticed and kept smirking, which only made me more flustered.

“So, Charlotte,” John said, breaking the silence. “You up for another swimming lesson today? It’s Sunday, so I’ve got the whole day free.”

My eyes widened, and I nearly choked on my croissant. “Really? I’d love that!”

He grinned, looking pleased. “Great. Same time as yesterday, by the pool.”

Davis coughed loudly, hiding a laugh. “Swimming lessons, huh? Sounds… educational.”

John shot him a glare, but I could see the corner of his mouth twitching. “Ignore him, Charlotte. He’s just jealous he’s not invited.”

“Jealous? Me?” Davis scoffed. “I’m too busy planning my date with Bianca, thank you very much.”

“Bianca?” I asked, curious. “Angelica’s sister?”

“Yup,” Davis said, puffing out his chest. “We’re hitting it off. She’s way cooler than her sister, no offense.”

John laughed, shaking his head. “Good luck, man. You’re gonna need it with Angelica’s family.”

As we finished breakfast, I felt a warmth in my chest. Despite everything, I was starting to feel like I belonged here. But I knew I had to be careful—my heart was already getting too attached to John, and that could only lead to trouble.

Angelica's POV

I woke up in a foul mood, still fuming about last night. John had taken that maid’s side over mine, and it was driving me crazy. Who did he think he was, treating me like I was the problem? I was Angelica, the model, his fiancée. Not some nobody maid.

I grabbed my phone and called Bianca, needing to vent.

📲 Hey, Angie. What’s up?

📲 Don’t “what’s up” me, Bianca. Why didn’t you tell me you were chumming it up with that maid yesterday?

📲 Charlotte? I told you, she’s nice. Why are you so worked up about her?

📲 Because she’s trying to steal John from me! You should’ve seen the way he looked at her last night. It’s disgusting.

📲 Angie, you’re overreacting. John’s just being nice to her. She’s his employee.

📲 Employee, my ass. She’s a threat, and I’m not letting her get away with it. I’m going back to John’s today, and I’m gonna make sure she knows her place.

📲 Angelica, don’t do anything stupid. You’ll just push John away.

📲 Save your advice, Bianca. I know what I’m doing.

I hung up, tossing my phone onto the bed. I wasn’t going to let some maid ruin everything I’d built with John. If she thought she could waltz in and take him, she had another thing coming.

I got dressed, choosing a tight red dress that showed off every curve. John wouldn’t be able to take his eyes off me, and Charlotte would see exactly who was in charge.

Time to pay a little visit to that mansion.

Episode 16

Theme: I Bought Her

John's POV

I couldn’t stop thinking about Charlotte as I got ready for our swimming lesson. The way she smiled at breakfast, the way her eyes lit up when I mentioned teaching her again—it was doing things to me I couldn’t explain. I knew I was treading dangerous waters, but I couldn’t help myself. She was different, and I wanted to be around her.

I headed to the pool, already in my swim trunks, and found Charlotte waiting there, her towel wrapped tightly around her. She looked nervous but excited, and my heart did a little flip at the sight of her.

“Ready to dive in?” I asked, grinning.

She nodded, biting her lip. “As ready as I’ll ever be.”

I chuckled, stepping closer. “You’ll be a pro in no time. Let’s start with floating again, get you comfortable.”

She hesitated, then dropped her towel, revealing the same swimsuit from yesterday. My breath caught in my throat—she looked incredible, and I had to force myself to focus on the lesson and not her curves.

I guided her into the pool, keeping my hands steady as I held her waist to help her float. She was tense at first, but as I talked her through it, she started to relax, her body buoyant in the water.

“You’re doing great,” I said, my voice soft. “Just keep breathing, nice and slow.”

She smiled, her eyes locked on mine. “Thanks, John. You make it less scary.”

My chest tightened, and I had to look away to keep from doing something stupid, like pulling her closer. We kept practicing, moving on to kicking and arm movements, and she was picking it up faster than I expected. By the end, she was even laughing, splashing me playfully when I teased her about her form.

“Watch it, Charlotte,” I said, splashing her back. “You’re messing with the coach.”

She giggled, wiping water from her face. “Oh, I’m so scared, Coach John.”

For a moment, it was just us, laughing and splashing like nothing else mattered. But then I heard the unmistakable click of heels on the pool deck, and my stomach dropped.

“Well, isn’t this cozy,” Angelica’s voice cut through the air like a knife.

I turned to see her standing there, arms crossed, in a red dress that screamed “look at me.” Her eyes were narrowed, locked on Charlotte, who had gone still in the water beside me.

“Angelica,” I said, trying to keep my voice calm. “What are you doing here?”

“I came to see my fiancé,” she said, her tone icy. “But it looks like you’re busy playing lifeguard with the maid.”

Charlotte’s face fell, and she started to move toward the edge of the pool. “I’ll go,” she said quietly.

“No, stay,” I said, my voice sharper than I intended. I turned back to Angelica. “This is a swimming lesson, Angelica. Nothing more. You don’t need to make a scene.”

“A scene?” she scoffed, stepping closer. “I’m not the one making a fool of myself, John. You’re the one parading around with her like she’s your girlfriend.”

“Enough,” I snapped, climbing out of the pool and grabbing a towel. “Charlotte, go inside. I’ll handle this.”

Charlotte nodded, her eyes downcast as she wrapped her towel around herself and hurried toward the house. I hated seeing her like that, and it only fueled my anger toward Angelica.

“What is your problem?” I demanded once Charlotte was out of earshot. “Why can’t you just leave her alone?”

“My problem is you,” Angelica said, jabbing a finger at my chest. “You’re letting this girl get too close, and I’m not going to stand by and watch her take you from me.”

“Take me from you?” I repeated, incredulous. “Angelica, you barely have time for me. You’re always off with your modeling, your photoshoots, your competition with Phoebe. And when you are here, you’re picking fights over nothing.”

“Nothing?” she yelled. “She’s living in your house, John! Cooking your meals, wearing your slippers, swimming with you! How am I supposed to feel about that?”

I sighed, running a hand through my wet hair. “I don’t know, Angelica. But I’m tired of this. I’m tired of you treating Charlotte like she’s the enemy when all she’s done is her job.”

Angelica’s eyes glistened with tears, but her jaw was set. “If you want her so bad, just say it, John. Don’t string me along.”

I stared at her, my heart heavy. I didn’t know what I wanted—not completely. But I knew I couldn’t keep doing this, not with Charlotte caught in the middle.

“I think you should go,” I said finally, my voice low.

Angelica’s face crumpled, but she quickly masked it with anger. “Fine. But don’t think this is over, John. I’m not giving you up that easily.”

She turned and stormed off, her heels clicking furiously. I stood there, dripping wet, feeling like I’d just made things a hundred times worse.

Charlotte's POV

I sat in my room, my towel still wrapped around me, my heart pounding. I could hear raised voices outside, though I couldn’t make out the words. I felt awful, like I was the cause of all this drama. Maybe Angelica was right—maybe I was getting too comfortable here, too close to John.

A knock on my door made me jump. “Charlotte?” John’s voice came through, soft but strained.

“Come in,” I said, trying to sound normal.

He stepped inside, his hair still damp, a towel slung over his shoulder. He looked exhausted, and my heart ached for him.

“I’m sorry about that,” he said, leaning against the doorframe. “Angelica was out of line.”

“It’s okay,” I said, though it wasn’t. “I don’t want to cause trouble between you two.”

“You’re not,” he said firmly. “This is on her, not you. I just… I need you to know that you’re welcome here, Charlotte. I don’t want you to feel like you have to hide or leave because of her.”

I nodded, my throat tight. “Thank you, John. But… maybe it’s better if I keep my distance. I don’t want to make things harder for you.”

His eyes softened, and he took a step closer. “You’re not making things harder. You’re making them better. I mean it.”

My breath caught, and for a moment, we just looked at each other. There was something in his gaze—something that made my heart race and my head spin. But I couldn’t let myself go there. Not now, not ever.

“I should get changed,” I said, breaking the silence.

He nodded, stepping back. “Yeah. I’ll see you later, okay?”

“Okay,” I said, managing a small smile.

As he left, I closed the door and leaned against it, my heart still racing. I didn’t know how much longer I could ignore the way I felt about him. But I had to try—for both our sakes.

Episode 17

Theme: I Bought Her

Davis's POV

I was in the living room, flipping through channels on the TV, when I heard the shouting by the pool. I didn’t need to guess who it was—Angelica’s voice carried like a foghorn. I sighed, tossing the remote aside. That woman was a walking disaster, and I was getting real tired of her drama.

When I saw Charlotte hurry inside, looking like she’d been slapped, I knew things had gone south. A few minutes later, John came in, dripping wet and looking like he wanted to punch something. I raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to spill.

“Angelica showed up,” he said, slumping on the couch. “Caught me and Charlotte in the pool. Lost her damn mind.”

“Shocker,” I said, rolling my eyes. “What’d she do, try to drown Charlotte?”

John snorted, but there was no humor in it. “Might as well have. She went off about Charlotte being too close, like I’m cheating or something. I leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knees. “Man, you gotta level with me. Are you cheating? ‘Cause you and Charlotte… there’s something there.”

He glared at me, but I could tell I’d hit a nerve. “I’m not cheating, Davis. I’m just… I don’t know. Charlotte’s different. She’s kind, she’s real. Being around her feels good.”

“And Angelica?” I pressed. “Where does she fit in all this?”

John groaned, rubbing his hands over his face. “That’s the problem. I don’t know anymore. She’s always been the plan, you know? But lately, it feels like we’re just going through the motions. And then there’s Charlotte…”

I nodded, not surprised. I’d seen this coming since the day he brought Charlotte home. “Look, man, I’m not gonna tell you what to do. But you can’t keep stringing both of them along. It’s not fair to either of them—or you.”

“I know,” he said, his voice now quiet. “I told Angelica to leave, but she’s not gonna let this go. She thinks Charlotte’s trying to steal me.”

I laughed, shaking my head. “Angelica’s paranoid, but she’s not entirely wrong. Charlotte’s got you wrapped, whether you wanna admit it or not.”

John shot me a look, but he didn’t deny it. “I just went to check on Charlotte. She’s blaming herself for this mess. I told her it’s not her fault, but… I don’t know if she believes me.”

“Give her time,” I said. “She’s tough, but Angelica’s got a way of making people feel like crap. You just gotta keep showing her she’s got a place here.”

John nodded, staring at the floor. “Yeah. I will.”

I clapped him on the shoulder, standing up. “Good. Now go dry off and figure your life out, Romeo. I’m here when you need me.”

He gave me a half-smile, and I headed to my room, hoping he’d make the right call. John was my best friend, but he was rooting for Charlotte. She was the kind of girl who deserved someone who saw her for who she really was. And I had a feeling John was starting to see it too.

Charlotte's POV

I stood in front of my mirror, brushing out my wet hair, trying to calm my nerves. John’s words kept replaying in my head: You’re making things better. Did he mean it? Or was he just trying to make me feel less guilty?

I sighed, slipping into a pair of comfy leggings and a loose sweater. I didn’t feel like dressing up anymore—not after Angelica’s scene. I just wanted to blend into the background, do my job, and stay out of trouble.

But my heart wasn’t cooperating. Every time John looked at me, every time he smiled or said something kind, it chipped away at the walls I’d built. I couldn’t afford to fall for him—not when he was engaged, not when I was just the maid he’d bought.

A soft knock on my door pulled me from my thoughts. I opened it to find Davis standing there, his usual grin replaced with a gentler expression.

“Hey, Charlotte,” he said, leaning against the doorframe. “Just wanted to check on you. That pool showdown was… a lot.”

I managed a small smile. “I’m okay, Davis. Thanks for checking in.”

He studied me for a moment. “You sure? ‘Cause you don’t look like someone who’s okay. You look like someone who’s carrying the weight of Angelica’s ego.”

I laughed softly, shaking my head. “She’s… intense. But I’m used to people like her. My aunt was the same.”

“Yeah, well, you shouldn’t have to be,” he said, his tone serious. “You’re good people here, Charlotte. John knows it, I know it. Don’t let Angelica make you feel like you don’t.”

I nodded, grateful for his warmth. “Thanks, Davis. You’re pretty good people too.”

He grinned, the teasing spark back in his eyes. “Don’t tell anyone. I’ve got a rep to protect.”

I giggled, feeling a bit lighter. “My secret’s safe.”

As he left, I closed the door and sat on my bed, hugging my knees to my chest. Davis was right—I couldn’t let Angelica get to me. But it was hard when my heart kept pulling me toward John, knowing I was setting myself up for pain.

I just had to focus on my job, keep my head down, and hope these feelings would fade. But deep down, I wasn’t sure if they would.

Angelica's POV

I slammed my apartment door behind me, my blood still boiling. John had humiliated me, choosing that maid over me in front of everyone. I wasn’t going to let it slide. I was Angelica, and no one—no one—got the best of me.

I grabbed my phone and called Phoebe, my modeling rival. If anyone could help me get revenge, it was her. She thrived on drama and always had a trick up her sleeve.

📲 Hey, Phoebe. I need a favor.

📲 Ooh, Angelica, you sound pissed. What’s the tea?

📲 John’s got some maid living in his house, and she’s trying to steal him from me. I need to shut her down.

📲 A maid? Oh, honey, that’s juicy. What’s the plan?

📲 I want you to dig up everything you can on her. Her past, her family, anything I can use to make her life hell. And maybe… scare her off her a little.

📲 Phoebe laughed, a sharp, wicked sound. Consider it done. Send me her name and any details you’ve got. This is gonna be fun.

I smirked, feeling a rush of power. Charlotte thought she could play in my league? She was about to learn how wrong she was.

Episode 18

Theme: I Bought Her

John's POV

The next morning, I dragged myself to work, my head still a mess from yesterday. I couldn’t stop replaying the pool scene—Angelica’s accusations, Charlotte’s hurt expression, the way I’d almost lost my cool. And then there was Davis, calling me out on my feelings for Charlotte. He wasn’t wrong, but admitting it out loud felt like crossing a line I wasn’t ready for.

I sat in my office, staring at the paperwork in front of me, when my phone buzzed. A text from Angelica.

📢 John, I’m sorry about yesterday. Can we talk? I don’t want to fight anymore.

I sighed, rubbing my temples. Part of me wanted to ignore her, but I knew we couldn’t keep avoiding this. I typed back: Fine. Come by the office tonight after 6.

I hit send before I could overthink it. Maybe we could sort this out, or maybe I was just delaying the inevitable. Either way, I needed to figure out what I wanted—and fast.

The day dragged on, and by the time 6 p.m. rolled around, I was exhausted. Angelica showed up right on time, looking like she’d put in just as much effort as always—tight dress, flawless makeup, the whole model package. But her smile was hesitant, like she wasn’t sure how I’d react.

“Hey,” she said, sitting across from me.“Hey,” I replied, leaning back in my chair. “So, what’s this about?”

Angelica fidgeted with her purse, something she rarely did. “I was out of line yesterday, John. I shouldn’t have gone off like that. I just… I got jealous. Seeing you with Charlotte, it made me feel like I’m losing you.”

I studied her, trying to gauge if she was genuine or just playing the part. “Angelica, I’ve told you, Charlotte’s just doing her job. There’s nothing going on.”

She nodded, but her eyes were sharp. “I know you say that, but it doesn’t feel like it. She’s always around, cooking for you, swimming with you… it’s like she’s taking my place.”

I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. “She’s not taking your place. You’re my fiancée, Angelica. But you’ve got to stop treating her like she’s the enemy. She’s a person, not a threat.”

Angelica’s lips tightened, but she forced a smile. “Okay. I’ll try. I just need you to meet me halfway, John. Spend more time with me, show me I’m still important to you.”

I nodded, though my heart wasn’t in it. “I’ll try too. But we’ve got to trust each other, okay?”

“Deal,” she said, her smile softening. She stood, leaning over the desk to kiss my cheek. “I’ve got a late shoot tonight, but maybe we can have dinner tomorrow?”

“Sure,” I said, managing a small smile. “Text me.”

As she left, I felt a weight lift, but it was replaced by a nagging unease. Talking to Angelica hadn’t solved anything—it just made me realize how far apart we’d grown. And deep down, I knew Charlotte was part of the reason.

Charlotte's POV

I spent the day cleaning the house, trying to keep my mind off John and Angelica. Davis had gone out to meet Bianca, so the mansion was quiet, almost too quiet. I was in the kitchen, prepping dinner, when I heard the front door open.

“Charlotte?” John’s voice called out.

“In here!” I replied, wiping my hands on my apron.

He walked in, looking worn out but offering a tired smile. “Hey. Something smells good.”

“Just making some roasted chicken and veggies,” I said, returning his smile. “Rough day?”

He nodded, leaning against the counter. “Yeah. Work was long, and… Angelica came by the office.”

My heart sank, but I kept my expression neutral. “Oh? Everything okay?”

He hesitated, running a hand through his hair. “She apologized for yesterday. Said she was jealous and wants to work things out.”

I nodded, focusing on chopping carrots so he wouldn’t see the disappointment in my eyes. “That’s good. I’m glad you two are talking.”

He watched me for a moment, like he wanted to say more, but then he just sighed. “Yeah. Anyway, I’m gonna shower before dinner. Thanks for cooking, Charlotte.”

“No problem,” I said, my voice brighter than I felt.

As he left, I gripped the knife a little tighter, my chest aching. I knew I had no right to feel this way—John was engaged, and I was just the maid. But every time he looked at me, every time he spoke to me like I mattered, it made it harder to keep my feelings locked away.

I finished prepping dinner and set the table, trying to shake off the heaviness. Davis came back just as I was plating the food, his usual grin in place.

“Yo, Charlotte, you’re a lifesaver,” he said, sniffing the air. “I’m starving.”

I laughed, grateful for his energy. “Good, ‘cause there’s plenty. How was your date with Bianca?”

His grin widened. “Amazing. She’s so cool, man. We went to this art gallery, and she was geeking out over the paintings. It was adorable.”

“Sounds like you’re smitten,” I teased, setting a plate in front of him.

“Guilty as charged,” he said, winking. “What about you? Holding up okay after yesterday?”

I shrugged, sitting down with my own plate. “I’m fine. Just keeping busy.”

He gave me a knowing look. “You don’t have to pretend with me, Charlotte. I know Angelica’s making things tough.”

I sighed, poking at my food. “It’s not just her. It’s… everything. I feel like I’m causing problems, and I don’t want to.”

“You’re not the problem,” Davis said firmly. “John’s got his own stuff to figure out, and Angelica’s just lashing out ‘cause she’s scared. You keep doing you, Charlotte. You’re killing it here.”

I smiled, his words lifting my spirits a little. “Thanks, Davis.”

John joined us a few minutes later, his hair still damp from the shower. Dinner was quieter than usual, with John lost in thought and Davis trying to fill the silence with stories about his date. I stayed mostly silent, focusing on my food and trying not to read too much into John’s glances.

After dinner, I started clearing the table, but John stopped me. “I’ll handle the dishes tonight,” he said. “You’ve done enough.”

“You sure?” I asked, surprised.

“Yeah,” he said, offering a small smile. “Go relax.”

I nodded, heading to my room, but my mind was still racing. John’s kindness was making it harder to keep my distance, and I wasn’t sure how much longer I could fight my feelings.

Angelica's POV

I left the photoshoot feeling smug. My talk with John had gone better than expected—he hadn’t pushed back too hard, and I’d bought myself some time. But I wasn’t naive. I knew he was slipping away, and Charlotte was the reason.

My phone buzzed with a text from Phoebe.

📢 Got some dirt on your maid. Meet me at the cafe tomorrow morning?

I grinned, my pulse quickening. Perfect. Whatever Phoebe had found, I was going to use it to make sure Charlotte knew her place—or better yet, to get her out of John’s life for good.

I texted back: 9 a.m. sharp. Don’t be late.

Tomorrow, I’d have the ammunition I needed to take Charlotte down. And I couldn’t wait to see her crumble.

Episode 19

Theme: I Bought Her

Charlotte's POV

I woke up early the next morning, the sunlight filtering through my window. Despite the tension of the past few days, I felt a quiet determination to keep going. I couldn’t control Angelica or John’s relationship, but I could control how I handled myself. I decided to focus on my work and stay out of trouble.

I slipped into a comfortable pair of jeans and a light blue top, tying my hair back in a ponytail. As I headed to the kitchen to start breakfast, I heard Davis’s voice in the living room, talking on the phone. He sounded excited, probably chatting with Bianca again. I smiled to myself—his enthusiasm was infectious.

In the kitchen, I started on pancakes, humming softly as I mixed the batter. Cooking always calmed me, gave me a sense of purpose. I was flipping the first batch when John walked in, looking more rested than he had last night.

“Morning, Charlotte,” he said, grabbing a mug for coffee. “Pancakes? You’re gonna spoil us.”

I laughed, sliding a plate toward him. “Just doing my job,” I said, keeping my tone light.

He sat at the counter, watching me work. “You’re doing more than that, and you know it,” he said, his eyes warm.

I blushed, focusing on the griddle. “Thanks, John. I heard you say that. I’m glad you think so.”

He sipped his coffee, and for a moment, we fell into an easy silence. But I could feel his gaze on me, and it made my heart race. I needed to change the subject before I said something stupid.

“So, any big plans for today?” I asked, stacking pancakes on a platter.

“Not really,” he said. “Might swing by the office later, but I’m mostly free. You?”

I shrugged, smiling. “Just the usual—cleaning, cooking, maybe another swimming lesson if you’re up for it.”

His eyes lit up. “Count me in. You’re getting better every time.”

I grinned, feeling a flutter of excitement. “Deal.”

Davis sauntered in, sniffing the air like a cartoon character. “Pancakes? Charlotte, you’re my hero.”

I laughed, handing him a plate. “Eat up, hero worshipper.”

Breakfast was relaxed, with Davis keeping the mood light with his usual teasing. John seemed quieter, but he smiled more than he had in days, and I caught him watching me when he thought I wasn’t looking. It made my heart ache in a way I couldn’t ignore.

Angelica's POV

I sat across from Phoebe at the cafe, sipping my latte as she slid a folder across the table. Her smirk told me she’d found something good, and I couldn’t wait to see what it was.

“Spill,” I said, opening the folder.

Phoebe leaned back, crossing her arms. “Your little maid’s got a messy past. Her name’s Charlotte Cena, 19, parents died when she was born. Raised by her aunt, Ruby, who owns that sleazy club you mentioned. Ruby’s been using Charlotte as cheap labor since she was a kid—cleaning, running errands, you name it.”

I frowned, scanning the pages. “That’s sad, but it’s not exactly ammunition.”

“Patience,” Phoebe said, her eyes gleaming. “Here’s the juicy part. Ruby’s club isn’t just a club—it’s a front for some shady stuff. Prostitution, mostly. And guess who was up for sale the night John bought her?”

My jaw dropped. “Charlotte?”

“Bingo,” Phoebe said. “Ruby put her on the block, advertised her as ‘intact’ to drive up the price. John paid a grand to keep her from some creep, but the point is, Charlotte was part of that world, whether she wanted to be or not.”

I leaned back, my mind racing. This was perfect. I could spin this to make Charlotte look like a gold-digging opportunist, someone who’d wormed her way into John’s life to take advantage of him. It didn’t matter if it was true—what mattered was how it would look.

“There’s more,” Phoebe added, pulling out her phone. “I got a contact who says Ruby’s still bitter about losing Charlotte. She might be willing to talk, maybe even cause some trouble if you play your cards right.”

I grinned, closing the folder. “Phoebe, you’re a genius. This is exactly what I needed.”

“What’s the plan?” she asked, sipping her coffee.

“I’m going to John’s tonight,” I said, my voice cold. “And I’m bringing this with me. By the time I’m done, Charlotte will be out of his life for good.”

Phoebe laughed, shaking her head. “You’re ruthless, Angie. I love it.”

I smirked, feeling more in control than I had in days. Charlotte had no idea what was coming, and I was going to enjoy every second of watching her fall.

Episode 20

Theme: I Bought Her

John's POV

I sat in my office the next morning, the folder Angelica had given me still on my desk. I hadn’t slept much, my mind torn between Charlotte’s tearful eyes and Angelica’s ultimatum. I knew I had to make a choice, but every option felt like a betrayal—of Charlotte, of Angelica, or of myself.

Davis strolled in, looking annoyingly cheerful. “Morning, boss. You look like you got run over by a truck.”

“Thanks for the compliment,” I muttered, tossing the folder at him. “Take a look at this.”

He flipped through it, his grin fading as he read. “Damn, Angelica’s playing dirty. Where’d she get all this?”

“Doesn’t matter,” I said, leaning back in my chair. “She’s threatening to spread it around if I don’t kick Charlotte out.”

Davis whistled, tossing the folder back. “That’s cold, man. What’s your move?”

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. “I don’t know. I told Charlotte it doesn’t change anything, but Angelica’s not backing down. She gave me until today to choose.”

Davis raised an eyebrow. “And who’re you choosing?”

I glared at him. “You know it’s not that simple.”

“Sure it is,” he said, shrugging. “You’re miserable with Angelica. Always have been, even before Charlotte showed up. And with Charlotte… I see you smile, man. Like, real smiles, not that fake crap you pull with Angelica.”

I stared at him, his words hitting harder than I expected. He wasn’t wrong, but admitting it felt like stepping off a cliff. “What about Angelica? We’ve been together for years. I can’t just—”

“You can,” Davis cut in. “You’re not married. You don’t owe her your life. If she’s pulling stunts like this, maybe it’s time to let her go.”

I nodded slowly, the weight of his words sinking in. “I need to talk to her. End this properly.”

“That’s my boy,” Davis said, clapping me on the shoulder. “Just don’t let her guilt-trip you. You deserve better, and so does Charlotte.”

I managed a small smile. “When did you get so wise?”

“Always been wise,” he said, winking. “You’re welcome.”

As he left, I grabbed my phone and texted Angelica. Meet me at the house tonight. We need to talk. My heart was pounding, but for the first time I felt like I was finally seeing things clearly.

Charlotte's POV

I was dusting the living room when Davis came back from John’s office, whistling like he didn’t have a care in the world. I envied him—my stomach was in knots, knowing Angelica was still out there, ready to ruin everything.

“You okay, Charlotte?” he asked, plopping onto the couch.

I forced a smile, keeping my hands busy. “Yeah, I’m good. Just… worried about John.”

Davis snorted. “Don’t worry about him. He’s tougher than he looks. And he’s got you in his corner, so he’s pretty much unstoppable.”

Episode 22

Theme: I Bought Her

John's POV

I pulled into the driveway, my knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel. Ruby’s call had shaken me more than I wanted to admit. The thought of her getting anywhere near Charlotte made my blood boil, but I knew I had to play this carefully. If Ruby was desperate enough to contact me, she wasn’t bluffing about causing trouble.

I walked into the house, trying to keep my face neutral. Charlotte was in the living room, folding a stack of laundry, her movements slow and deliberate. She looked up when I saw me, her eyes searching mine for something—maybe reassurance, maybe answers.

“Hey,” I said, forcing a smile. “Everything okay here?”

She nodded, but I could see the worry in her eyes. “Yeah. Just finishing up. You look… tense.”

I hesitated, not wanting to scare her. “Just a long day. I’m meeting Angelica tonight to talk. Might be a late one.”

Her expression flickered, but she nodded. “Okay. I’ll keep dinner warm for you.”

“Thanks, Charlotte,” I said, my voice softer. I wanted to tell her about Ruby, about the folder, about everything—but not yet. I needed to handle Ruby first, figure out what she wanted and how to keep Charlotte safe.

I headed upstairs to change, my mind racing. I had two battles tonight—Angelica’s ultimatum and Ruby’s threat. I wasn’t sure which would be worse, but I knew I couldn’t let either of them hurt Charlotte’s life.

Charlotte's POV

I watched John head upstairs, my heart heavy. He was hiding something, I could sense it, but I didn’t push. I’d already caused him enough trouble, and the last thing he needed was me prying. Still, the way he looked at me—like he was something worth protecting—made my chest ache with feelings I couldn’t dare name.

I finished folding the laundry and moved to the kitchen to check on the casserole I’d made for dinner. Davis was there, raiding the fridge for a soda.

“You’re like a bottomless pit,” I teased, trying to lighten my mood.

“Guilty,” he said, grinning. “What’s with the long face, though? Trouble in paradise?”

I sighed, leaning against the counter. “I don’t know, Davis. John’s got a lot going on, and I feel like I’m making it worse.”

Davis popped open his soda, giving me a serious look. “Listen, Charlotte, you’re not the problem here. John’s got his own stuff to figure out, and that’s on him. You just keep being your awesome self.”

I smiled, but it didn’t reach my eyes. “I’m trying, but it’s hard when I feel like I’m walking on eggshells.”

“You won’t break,” he said, his voice firm. “And if anyone tries to break you, they’ll have to go through me and John first.”

I laughed softly, grateful for his support. “Thanks, Davis. You’re a good friend.”

“Best friend,” he corrected, winking. “Now, save me some of that casserole, yeah?”

I nodded, watching him leave. His words helped, but the unease lingered. Something was coming, and I could feel it like a storm on the horizon.

Angelica's POV

I sat in my car outside of John’s house, my nails tapping impatiently on the steering wheel. I’d gotten his text about meeting tonight, and I was ready to lay it all out. The folder was my trump card, and I wasn’t leaving until Charlotte was out of the picture. But Ruby’s involvement added a new layer of excitement—this was going to be a knockout blow.

My phone buzzed with a text from Ruby.

📢 Meeting your boy at 2 a.m. at the club. You’re coming, right?

I smirked, typing back: Wouldn’t miss it.

Ruby had promised me she’d make Charlotte’s life hell, and I trusted her to deliver. Between the rumors she’d spread and the pressure I’d put on John, Charlotte wouldn’t stand a chance. She’d be back in that club before the week was out, and John would have me again.

I started the car, my mind already spinning with new plans. Ruby might be out of the picture, but I had contacts, influence, and a burning need for revenge. Charlotte and John were going to learn that nobody crossed me and walked away unscathed.

Episode 23

Theme: I Bought Her

John's POV

The club was dimly lit, the air thick with the smell of cheap perfume and stale alcohol. It was past closing time, and the place was eerily quiet except for the faint hum of a jukebox in the corner. I spotted Ruby at a table near the stage, her cigarette glowing as she leaned back, smirking like she owned the world.

“John Walker,” she drawled as I approached, blowing smoke in my direction. “Didn’t think you’d have the balls to show up.”

“Cut the crap, Ruby,” I said, sitting across from her. “What do you want?”

She chuckled, tapping her cigarette on the ashtray. “Straight to it, huh? Alright. I want Charlotte back. She’s my property, and you stole her from me.”

My fists clenched under the table. “She’s not property. You sold her like she was nothing. She’s free now, and she’s staying that way.”

Ruby’s smirk faded, her eyes narrowing. “Free? That girl owes me everything. I fed her, clothed her, kept a roof over her head for years. And now she’s living in your fancy mansion, probably thinking she’s too good for me. I’m not letting that slide.”

I leaned forward, my voice low and steady. “You’re not getting her back, Ruby. Name your price, and I’ll pay you to leave her alone.”

Her eyebrows shot up, and she laughed, a harsh, grating sound. “Oh, you’re rich, so you think you can just buy your way out? Alright, let’s play. A hundred grand, and I’ll forget Charlotte exists.”

I didn’t flinch. “Done. But you sign a legal agreement to stay away from her—forever. And if you try anything, I’ll make sure this club gets shut down for good.”

Ruby’s eyes flickered with greed, but there was something else too—resentment. “You’re real sweet on her, aren’t you? What’s the deal? You sleepin’ with her yet?”

I stood, my chair scraping against the floor. “This isn’t a negotiation. Take the money, sign the papers, and disappear. Or you’ll regret it.”

She stubbed out her cigarette, her smirk returning. “Fine, rich boy. I’ll take your deal. But don’t think this makes you her hero. Girls like Charlotte don’t belong in your world.”

I didn’t respond, turning to leave. As I walked out, I saw a flash of red in the parking lot—Angelica’s car. My stomach twisted. She’d been here, probably scheming with Ruby. I knew she wouldn’t give up easily, but I wasn’t about to let her ruin Charlotte’s life any more than she already had.

Charlotte's POV

I couldn’t sleep. The house was silent, but my mind was loud with worry. John had been gone for hours, and I hadn’t heard from him. I kept imagining the worst—Angelica convincing him to send me away, or something even more terrible happening.

I was sitting in the kitchen, sipping water, when the front door opened. I jumped up, hurrying to the living room. John stood there, his face drawn but softening when he saw me.

“Charlotte,” he said, his voice tired but warm. “You’re still up?”

“I couldn’t sleep,” I admitted, wrapping my arms around myself. “Are you okay? What happened?”

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I… I broke up with Angelica. For good this time.”

My eyes widened, shock mixing with a flicker of hope I tried to suppress. “Really?”

He nodded, stepping closer. “Yeah. And I met with your aunt, Ruby. She won’t bother you anymore. I made sure of it.”

My heart stopped, tears welling up my eyes. “John… why would you do that?”

He looked at me, his eyes intense, searching mine. “Because I care about you, Charlotte. More than I should, maybe. But I couldn’t let her hurt you.”

I stared at him, my breath catching. The air between us felt charged, like one wrong move could change everything. “John, I whispered, my voice trembling,” I don’t know what to say.

“You don’t have to say anything,” he said, his hand reaching up to brush a tear from my cheek. His touch sent a shiver through me, my heart pounding. “Just… stay with me, okay?”

I nodded, unable to speak, my emotions a tangled mess of gratitude, fear, and something deeper—something that I’d been fighting for too long.

He pulled me into a hug, his arms strong and steady around me. I buried my face in his chest, feeling safe for the first time in years, letting myself believe—just for a moment—that maybe I could have a place in his world.

Angelica's POV

I sat in my car outside the club, my hands gripping the steering wheel so tight my knuckles were white. John’s reaction hadn’t been what I’d hoped—he was still defending that maid, still acting like she was some innocent victim. But I wasn’t done. Not by a long shot.

I pulled out my phone and called Ruby, Charlotte’s aunt. Phoebe had given me her number, and I knew she’d be eager to help if it meant getting back at Charlotte.

📢 Hello? Who’s this?

📢 Ruby, it’s Angelica. I’m John’s fiancée, the guy who bought your niece.

📢 Oh, yeah? What do you want?

📢 I want Charlotte gone. She’s causing problems, and I think you and I can help each other. You want her back, right?

There was a pause, then a low chuckle. 📢 You’re speakin’ my language, honey. What’s the plan?

I smiled, feeling a rush of power. “Meet me tomorrow. We’ll figure out how to make Charlotte disappear—for good.”
