I chuckled because it sounded like a dream, a very foolish dream. "What did you just say?".
"You heard me right, Victory Charles".
"Victory Donald you mean?". I gave him a daring stare.
"You can never be Victory Donald".
"But the baby in my womb can be Victory Donald?".
"I have no business with that thing in your womb!!!". He snarled.
I broke into laughter and I was excited at the way he was raging. "The baby in my womb is Victory Donald".
"...Look here Victory, I am the head Usher of my church and I won't tolerate you trying to ruin my image. My engagement with Rosa James is already an open relationship so I have no idea of what you are talking about".
I shrugged and moved closer to him. "Sweetheart, when I walked into the four walls of this company, I never for once seduced you, but you walked to me with your two left legs and even threatened to reduce my salary. What did you expect a lady who is taking care of her lame mother and epileptic father to do? Turn down the offer because of so-called morals I no longer care about? Excuse me!".
He threw a bundle of money at me. "Terminate it dear".
I kicked the money back to him. "How can I tærminate the heir to Bower bound company? Do you think I am mad?".
"I will be getting married in two months!!!".
"That marriage will never happen!!! Except you will k!ll me, but if you can't k!ll me, I won't allow that marriage to happen!!!".
He smirked at me. "Are you expecting me to marry a poverty-stricken lady with a lame mother and epileptic father?".
I nodded. "Yes. You slept with me, knowing the implications so you will face it!!!". I fired into his face and tore the sack letter into pieces. "Don't ever mention this to me! Ever!!!". With that, I walked out of his office.
When I got to my office, I sobbed into my hands.
I was scæred but at the same time determined to face the Donalds.
